"Giant pain in the butt..."

I placed an order for glasses, but decided to order from somewhere else that had other styles and requested cancellation of my Target order the same day I placed it. I received and incident number and voucher for my return and told I would receive an email confirmation of my cancellation. Instead, a couple days later a received an email saying my order was in progress. I requested cancellation again and told that my order was being cancelled and that management was now involved, just running behind on cancellations. A week later, I received an email saying my order was en route to the store for pickup. I spoke with a specialist for a third time who told me they didn't see any cancellations in the system for my order. After I provided them with my incident number, they said that the cancellation request was received but was submitted too late (even though I cancelled just hours after my order was placed). I was told I would still need to pick up my order but could return it for a refund, BUT that the store I was picking up at could not accept my return and instead I'd have to pick it up, take it to UPS for return, and wait 30 days for the refund to hit my account.

"I lost my last years benefits because…"

I lost my last years benefits because of target optical. They said my order was in process and then they told me they were back ordered and asked if I wanted to cancel and I replied no and then I was told that they were sent to the lab and would be sent next week and then it was cancelled after over a month of waiting. I lost my benefit for the year and was offered a 10.00 coupon and then was blocked by them. 😔

"I ordered a pair of AX glasses on…"

I ordered a pair of AX glasses on December 27, 2024. My prescription was valid until December 28, 2024. The lenses were supposed to have blue light protection. I received the glasses in the first week of January. It was immediately obvious that the blue light protection was missing. I took them to an optician for a check-up, who confirmed the absence of the treatment. I sent everything back.

After a week, they demanded the prescription. Why? The prescription was correct; the only issue was the missing treatment. I sent it anyway, and they told me it had expired. I tried explaining that while the prescription was now expired, it was valid when I placed the order, and the problem was on their end for not sending the glasses as requested. They continued insisting that the prescription had expired.

After four attempts and clearly stating that I would not pay for another prescription due to their mistake, they finally processed a new order. Now, three weeks later, on January 31, I receive the new glasses. I open the box only to find the glasses out of their protective case. Once again, there was no blue light protection. Plus, I noticed marks on the box that were clearly present in the original order.

So what’s the bottom line? They sent me the same old glasses back. Did you really think I wouldn't notice? Shame on you. Like everyone else, I work hard for my money. I’m not here to give it away to you.

"Target optical website frustration"

We tried to place an order for contacts through Target Optical online. The website is difficult to say the least. We had to restart and re-enter information several times. The recapcha wasn’t working which was no real surprise since nothing else worked. After trying multiple times, I ordered through another carrier. Target lost an order of $550 due to a bad website today.

"Don't do it....."

Placed an order patiently waited the 7-10 processing time nothing changed with the status I called and they said sorry for the delay it is set to ship within the next 48 hours. 48 hours later I get an email saying there is a 1-2 day delay so I wait 4 days call back and they say it's in QC and shipping first thing tomorrow. I wait two more days and call back they said oh let me call the lab and see what the hold up is then hang up so I call back again and they say oh looks like it's not shipping for three more days due to the weather....... I asked them to expedite my shipping for my difficulty dealing with them they said no so I'm still here without glasses


Update: attempted to email in response to their reply it just gets kicked back to me....

Another update: I contacted them again I've ordered almost a month ago with no updates. They said they didn't know what happened and offered to replace or refund my order i told them I just want my original order they told me they can only replace or refund so they're saying we have to start the whole process again cause they are unsure where my original order is. So within the next two days they will replace my oder.

Just another update 02/20/2025: about a month and a half overdue now two more guaranteed deadlines missed still waiting. Hoping I'll have vision in the near future...

Original order on 12-27 showed "we received your prescription! Sit back and we'll do the rest!". No update and then a week later it was cancelled without notice. 2nd order on 1-7 was barely shipped on 1-25. They said they would backdate to the original order date, and that hasnt been done. I still don't have my glasses. So I still have to reach out, for the 5th+ time, wasting more time, to get them to backdate so i dont have to use my 2025 benefits, as they have done. HUGE NIGHTMARE

"Ordered glasses on December 22nd- still waiting Jan 24th!"

Ordered glasses on December 22nd. Website said they were completed and ready for pick up at the store In livonia, MI. I waited several days and then went to pick them up on Jan 15, 2025. The optical department staff was unwilling to help me - they stated that they do not have anything to do with target optical online and do not have access to their systems? Only when I insisted did she go and check boxes in the back of the store- which she did not find my order. The manager of the Livonia Target was unable to find my order either. So emailed target optical online and they said they were sorry and would remake the glasses and send them to me. A week goes by and no email and no glasses and no reference online that a new order was in process. So I emailed today to ask for an update on the glasses and basically got a non answer- basically the order is in process with no idea about how long this will take.

"I never received my order/ Customer service lied about shipping "

I never received my order! Every time I called they said it was processing, preparing shipment then when I called today she said that it was being shipped out today and when a tracking number was available it would be sent to me but I never got a tracking number, and when I just checked again my order shows it was “Delivered and completed” but the store says they didn’t receive an order for me! This is FRAUD! I paid almost 1K for these! I will be reporting this to all outlets for fraud until this is resolved!!
