"I wish I could tell you how the glasses "

I wish I could tell you how the glasses are, but here it is 1/23 and I still haven't received my glasses! I ordered them on 12/30! This is ridiculous, never again! Not to mention the optometrist was RUDE. I went in for first time contacts, she told me the price, and at the time it was out of budget, so I asked just for the prescription. This lady told me NO, she said we own lens crafters so if you were planning on going there don't bother were the same price and I won't need my contacts prescription.

Sonia did a great job she was very kind and help me pick out a few glasses , she made sure the other customer were taken care of even though she was helping me . I love that she gave great customer service . Thank you for that Ms Sonia . She was very professional.

"How to treat people."

I return on 01/12/2025 to pick up my glasses from 7845 N Macarthur Blvd, Irving, Texas. When I walked into the department, I was on the phone. The young lady was with a customer, that was no problem. I had a chance to look at glasses and try them on because I wanted to purchase another pair & I also brought my sunglasses
as request I waited patiently and did not say a word. The young lady did not acknowledge me. I sat down because my legs were getting tried, she was still with that customer. She did tell Siri to call someone and her message to that person was she was still at work, and she had one person waiting I got really excited because i thought someone was coming to help me, but i was wrong. Finally, she did say that she will be with me. I just put the other glasses i was going to purchase back because i did not feel welcome also, I did not know how long it would take for her to help me. My transaction was short brief but alright! the wait was long, but I had the time, I also work in Customer service and one thing you should always do is greet your customer, and when you have others waiting just say hey, I will be with you soon etc. Also, when i got to door walking out lost prevent guy tells me to have a great day! Wow!! So, the phone call was for that WOW!! Not only did i have to wait for more than 30 minutes to get my glasses I paid for. also was not treated ask a customer but treated like i did not exist. Please treat each and every one who enter any target with the respect and dignity. The golden rule please treat people the way you want to
be treated.

"A month later, I have no contacts and over $300 in charges"

I had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience with Target Optical that spanned over a month. I initially placed an order for contacts with expedited handling and next-day shipping, but the order never shipped. Despite receiving perpetual delay notifications, no one could explain why. I spent over three hours on the phone with customer service across multiple calls, and every representative told me the same thing: the system showed the order was ready to ship, but for unknown reasons, it never did. Each time, I was told to call back in a few days because “it should be resolved soon.”

After 15 days of no progress, I finally got my case escalated. The new agent admitted he had no idea what was going on, was unable to resolve the issue, and lacked confidence in his ability to fix it. He suggested canceling the order and reordering it with a discount and free next-day air shipping. I reluctantly agreed, but a week later, the new order experienced the exact same issues. There were delays, no clear explanation, and none of the promised discounts or upgraded shipping were applied.

At that point, I decided to cancel again. Now, over a month later, I am still dealing with the aftermath. Target Optical charged me for both the original and second orders, and I am waiting for their system to process refunds. To make matters worse, an unexplained new charge appeared on my account for a completely different amount. This has created complications with my insurance, delaying my ability to order contacts elsewhere.

Overall, this experience has been a complete nightmare. Target Optical’s systems seem overloaded and disconnected from their processing centers, and their customer service was unable to resolve any of these issues. I strongly advise avoiding Target Optical at all costs. I will be taking my business elsewhere and hope to never deal with this level of incompetence again.

"Can't complain"

Target Optical Online was easy to browse through and purchase from. I did have some difficulty though because the model name of the glasses is not very clear. For example, I wanted to buy some Clubmasters from Rayband and selected the ones I thought were on the website. The name "clubmaster" was not on the actual listing. Once I got the glasses, I saw that the lenses were the "reverse" model, which was unclear on the website. Once I reached out for an exchange, the customer service team went above and beyond to make the exchange smooth and easy. They offered to cover the cost of the exchange up to $100 MORE than the initial cost and sent the replacement pair literally the same day. Another thing to note is that it is not outright clear that the website Target Optical and the local Target Optical in-store are actually two different entities. It would make the shopping experience much easier if the two were connected. So my suggestion is to pick one or the other. In-store does not take returns or exchanges for orders made online and vice versa.
