"The missing glasses…"

Order glasses on December 4 glasses arrived sometime around the 19th of December ordered Oakley's received Ray-Ban not even the correct lens contact with Target their first response was a label to send back the wrong glasses and nothing else about replacing the glasses till the second contact a week later well then all kind of emails I say all kinds two or three stating refund would be issued and insurance would not be charged I did not look for this to happen nor did I expect this to happen they requested some information of the glasses they sent I emailed the information back to them within 24 hours a week later I received an email stating that the lost glasses case had been closed due to not providing information that was requested well at that point when I contacted them they got on the ball and got me my God that was on Monday and I received them by Thursday or Friday is great but the exception they told me everyday that week they would be here the next day they'll be here the next day or there were no way they could have been here the next day at the beginning because they had not been made they were not made to 4:30 on Tuesday morning in the lab so they were no way they could ever arrived on Tuesday way I know this is the lab left their receipt in the box with a timestamp but very grateful for them getting the order correct about you I just hope the other person that had the ray bans did not have to go through as much aggravation as I did

"Mauricio & Scott at Lakeworth West FL, extremely rude"

I called today to pay for my contacts and have them shipped. The manager Jens Strepp had left me a detailed message about the cost $105.58 Mauricio one of the employees there said he could not honor the discount offered by the manager no matter my insistence, he asked me to call tomorrow when the manager is in. I called back to have my Rx faxed to Costco because I did not appreciate the fee not being honored, then Scott answered; our call dropped twice. After the second call dropped, I called and asked what Scott what he was explaining regarding my Rx but he accused me of hanging up on him.I tried to tell him I did not hang up but that I would like the info he was giving me when the call dropped. however he continued to speak loud over me and finally screamed at me saying “LISTEN LISTEN YOU HAVE 2 EARS AND ONE MOUTH LISTEN!!! I tried to explain again the call dropped and he hung up on me.
I’m sorry to say that for such a nice manager what horrible staff he has who are driving the customers away. My family, sister family and mom are leaving. I am appalled to say the least about the way I was treated. The saying here applies … “when the cat is out the mice will play” i’m horrified thinking there may have been patients in office listening to how he treated me. Jens if your patients are not coming back or leaving now you know why!

"Frustrating Experience with Online Ordering"

I’ve been trying to place an order on the Target Optical website since January 1st, and it has been an incredibly frustrating experience. Despite multiple attempts, the website constantly fails to add items to the cart, and when it does, it refuses to apply insurance benefits.

I’ve tried every troubleshooting step imaginable—clearing cache and cookies, using different devices, and even attempting to order via phone—but nothing has worked. I had no choice but to order from glasses.com, which completed my order in minutes.

I’ve even opened a support ticket, but the issues remain unresolved. It’s disappointing that such a well-known brand has such unreliable technology, especially when customers depend on these services for something as essential as eyewear.

By the way, their canned response suggesting customers email TOSocialCSE at targetoptical.com is completely unhelpful. I tried emailing, and the message bounced.

Until the website and system are fixed, I cannot recommend Target Optical for online orders. Please address this issue promptly—it’s long overdue.

They are terribly slow and don’t tell you they don’t take your benefits up front. The website lies and says they take your benefits but they don’t. Look elsewhere.

"Stay away!!"

Stay away!!! Their customer service is tragic - won’t answer phone calls, chat always off, no email response. I was charged for two boxes of contacts (different prescriptions) but only got one in the mail. They said it was a glitch on their website and gave me a coupon code to reorder. Same thing happened with the second order. Can’t get ahold of anyone to get it fixed or refunded.

"I have really impressed with the…"

I am really impressed with the service. Considering how busy they are in December, when everyone is scrambling to get the eye insurance benefits by the end of year. I was one of them. They did everything they could to help me be sure to get my benefits used when I had a last minute return.
I was very impressed how wonderful they were when I wanted to return the glasses and still use my insurance credit. The customer service person explained how I needed to do it precisely and was very patient with me while I jotted things down.
I can hardly wait till I get my new pair and I am praying that they come out well.
Either way I'm sure they'll help me get them adjusted if needed.
You all deserve a pat on the back after everything you went through in December.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I WILL NEVER USE TARGET OPTICAL AGAIN. WEBSITE WOULDNT LET ME UPLOAD MY PRESCRIPTION FOR ONE EYE OF MY CONTACTS, TRIED MULTIPLE TIMES ON MULTIPLE DEVICES DIFFERENT DAYS, IT DIDNT WORK. CHAT AGENTS CLAIMED TO FIX THE ISSUE BUT DID NOT AND MY ORDER ENDED UP BEING CANCELLED FOR THEIR TECHNICAL ISSUE AND MY FULL INSURANCE CREDIT WAS USED ON ONLY HALF AN ORDER OF RECEIVED CONTACTS. CANT REACH ANYONE AT CUSTOMER SERVICE BY PHONE THE SYSTEM JUST HANGS UP. CHAT AGENTS DO NOT HELP. REGULAR TARGET CUSTOMER SERVICE CANT HELP. OVERALL A MESS!!!!
