"Lost order...Solidor dont care."

My fitting company ordered a door from solidor over 5 months ago. Solidor have now informed us that the order was lost and has not been manufactured. They have not offered to put my order to the front of the queue and have said that I will have to wait another 3 months. Unacceptable.

EDIT: After speaking with both Solidor and my fitter it seems the fault was mostly with my fitter for not confirming the receipt of the order, rather they assumed an email being sent was sufficient. Solidor's customer support was great when investigating this issue.

Please avoid this company. Read reviews and take them seriously. You will get a warped door. Check out Google Reviews because Solidor can’t get those removed! Please spend your hard earned money else where.

"Upgrading from UPVC door to Solidor composite door"

We have had a PVC double glazing door for the past 20 years and recently decided to upgrade to a composite door. One of our friends recommended a solidor and gave us a catologue to brows through. We decided to go for it on his recommendation. The door has totally transformed the look of the house and also masivly improved the security with the Ultilon lock as standard. The old door was very draughty and this door has eliminated that. I was very impressed with the customer service we received. The door was slightly scratched during the instillation process and I contacted the customer services department. Grace very kindly send us a pot of touch up paint to touch up the small scratch. Now you can't even tell. We are so happy with our new door and a massive thank you for the after service. We would highly recommend a solidor!

"Lock problems"

We had our Solidoor installed approx Sept 2020, since then we had issues with the door lock, it has been replaced once but has developed the same issue again where 8 times out of 10 I cannot turn the key in the lock to either lock or unlock the door, after a frantic minute or so, by pulling up the handle, fiddling with the lock it does what is supposed to do.
Frustrating!!

I can honestly say I have never had a problem.These are top quality doors with the highest available specifications.A £2000 pound insurance pay out for a snapped lock break in is unrivalled.
I have fitted thousands of doors from hundreds of manufacturers Solidor is my favourite.

Contacted Solidor for replacement hinges on our 7 year old door, they speedily sent a replacement set free of charge great communication and customer service

"Warped door…"

After much consideration which company to use I opted for solidor as opposed to rockdoor as a replacement for my drafty timber door.
It's been just over two years now since instillation and I've noticed that it's gradually started warping at the top and bottom the door is not exposed to sunlight as it's shaded by the adjacent property the fitter has returned taken pictures and acknowledged there is an issue now it's a question of how long this is going to take to resolve, inspected before Christmas and so far no contact.

Emailed Solider to enquire if they sell touch paint for their composite doors, as I had a scuff on mine. Received a quick response from a lady named Grace who took the colour details of my door.
4 days after my original email I received a pot of touch up paint at no charge to me.

Thank you for a great customer experience, something that is sadly lacking with many companies these days!

"A quick solution to our problem!"

We've recently had a Solidor installed by our builder. Unfortunately, the bolt at the top of the handle was too short and hence the handle was floppy. However, a quick email through to the company and the correct bolt was sent by return and it has done the job superbly.....despite the company's problems being shut for covid!! Well done Solidor.
