"A very satisfied customer"
After a number of years of making do with our drafty, weathered and frankly knacered old front door we decided it was time to upgrade. Having scowered to market of all of the options out there my wife and I were both drawn to solidor. The range of door styles, accessories and colours were fantastic and the door designer was a great tool to allow us to change around the different options before making our final selection. The only downside to the wide range was how long it took is to both agree!! From order to delivery using our local approved installer was so easy and quick which was great as once we had decided on the door we just wanted that old one gone. Since install we have had no issues and we get so many positive comments on how good it looks. It's also a lot warmer now. I would recommend solidor to anyone. A fantastic product. Solidor you have a customer for life.

"Second door has warped, neither lasted more than 2 years AVOID"
Our neighbour had a Solidor in 2013, we read all the blurb & fell for it. The first door fitted in 2013 warped within two years and was replaced in June 2016 after several months of waiting & calling. My neighbour has just called round. His has warped, we put a spirit level on ours & hey, thats warped as well. 18 months for a £1000 door!!. Have you noticed the wording of the 5 star reviews, does most of that sound like industry speak? These doors are appalling.

"Fourth Door"
I'm now on my fourth door door and all of them have leaked .I might be wrong but if I pay £900 for a door then I expect it to keep the weather out. I also read with interest that several other people have had the same experience when my fitter keeps telling me that Solidor has never had this problem before which is obviously untrue. It's more likely that they don't acknowledge the problems . The company who fitted my door want to come and seal round the cassettes stating that this is a recognized practise.I think it would be far better to treat the problem at source than waiting to see if it leaks and then trying to convince customers this is industry practise.I am really disappointed in Solidor and the company who fitted it . I think the only honourable solution is a full refund and I will have to buy a proper door

"Love my new door!"
I'm delighted with my new door! The website is easy to use where you can design your own door and the recommended local company were very quick to contact and send a quote out to me. Very satisfied with the whole experience.

"Awful"
Awful - used a fitter recommended by solidor , he came round , took my £360 deposit and I never saw him again.
I contacted solidor by email and they didn't even bother to reply. I then phoned them and they said someone would call me back - guess what..... No one did.
Shocking service , I used a company called ' adoored ' in the end - fantastic company to deal with.

"doors unfit for purpose"
HAD 2 doors fitted by a rated windows port Talbot February 2017. Within weeks we had water pouring through the glazed panels of both doors. Pictures supplied to installer. They sealed doors with sealant to prevent further ingress. However, the sealant discoloured and had to be removed. This resulted in further water leaking through doors. Eventually solider sent an engineer to replace the sealing gaskets. He would not allow me to test for leaks with a hose as apparently, the seals need to bed in to be effective. They must have very high contacts to prevent rain! Within a week water was again flooding through the glazed panels. Product is not fit for purpose. New bare slabs sent to installer to fit as solider won't replace faulty goods themselves. One door returned as not glazed, still wasting for return. Awaiting new door knocker for front door as installer unable to remove due to overtightened by solider. I have lost days from work to facilitate attempted repair and replacement, have had to replace flooring at my own cost and am still waiting for completion in December. I have no confidence in the replacement being any better and will seek compensation via sale of goods act as solider and installer are not interested in my losses, only their own. To be honest, solidor treat installers and customers very shoddily. Try another product would be my advice, maybe something cheaper than 3000.00 for 2 faulty doors.
