"Bowed & Blistered in less than 6 months"

I have had my door less that 6 months. the facia has blistered off the internal components, the door has bowed top to bottom and side to side, it no longer fits in the hole, this has also caused the bottom hinge to fail. now very difficult to close. Solidoor are supplying a new door via The Trade Village but will not stand on the re installation cost despite this being a known issue with the door. My fear is that the new door is going to do exactly the same as soon as it gets the sun on it. I will then end up battling to get my money back I am sure. Update. Solidor sent out there engineer to install a new door which he did in about 3 hours. A very nice helpful man, clean and tidy worker, took all his rubbish with him. the new door looks great. there is a final adjustment to be made to the frame so as the door closes tightly, which he said he could assist with but failed to leave his number in order for me to arrange.

Earlier this year we were looking for a composite door and our supplier (Glass & Glazing Stafford) recommended Solidor as a market leader in this field. We chose a door with a large decorative panel in Chartwell Green. We were a little nervous when fitting day arrived but there was no need, we were delighted and the door continues to be admired. We wanted a new front door for our house. We shopped about but decided to purchase a door from Solidor.
Our experience using Solidor was brilliant. The item turned up on the date given and was fitted with ease.
The quality of the door was to a very high standard as the noise level from outside was lowered dramatically. Choice wise we were pleased we could have the interior a separate colour from the exterior as it assisted in brightening up our hall way.
The overall quality impressed us as it felt solid and a lot more secure than our previous door.
Would I purchase from Solidor again, definite yes. Recommend to anyone.
