After four weeks, having twice requested a sample to match colours, it arrived, with no postage. I had to go and collect and pay the cost. They tried to blame Royal Mail and any apology was very limited.

I wanted a door for my builder to fit, but from Solidor's comments and those of others I could not risk buying from them as they would blame the fitting for any issues. My experience of their service was poor. There are plenty of other door companies and many will want the business more.

We purchased a Solidor front door just over a year ago. Following installation we were not disappointed it was as good as it looks in the brochure. Quality and finish are excellent. People who pass by always comment on how good it looks.

Last month we noticed we had lost an end cap which I couldnt locate So I contacted Customer Services and it was replaced FOC and delivered within a few days.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Solidor to anyone looking to purchase a door of excellent quality.

Had our door fitted last year - it was a curved arched door for a period house, very non standard, we had no problems with it whatsoever - and looks stunning, had loads of positive feedback on it.
One day while cleaning I noticed one of the quadrant end caps had come off and been lost. I emailed solidor a picture and within 24 hours I had a replacement end cap arrive.
Can't get better service than that.

Just love my Solidor stable door it does everything I expected and more, the locking system is fantastic and on the inside I don't need a key which is one of my favourite features. When the top is open it stays put and doesn't swing about like some cheaper stable doors. I chose chartwell green for outside and white inside with black old fashioned hinges and the effect is fabulous. The door is really heavy and makes us feel safe and sound. When choosing a new back door I did loads of research and picked Solidor because nobody had a bad word for the doors and so glad I did. All my friends and family love it and it goes perfect with my old house.

Having purchased a door through a local,company , the salesman was so excited about quality of the door and side windows that were going to be stunning in my coastal home. How disappointing after the sixth attempt to make the door fit and work as a door should that it's still not right., I believe that a door should fit flush round a frame and close on the latch but seems I have been mistaken and this seems to be not true ,British standards I keep hearing from the so called fitters.
Beware if you decide to buy this type of door that the frame is up to the task ,mine definitely too heavy for the frame .
Called solidor but they didn't want to talk to me I had to go to the supplier ,but as mentioned after six attempts I need an answer from someone else ,who better than the company themselves but no ,not their problem ! Asked them to send a rep to look at the door ..... no was the reply !
In essence buyer beware ..... you don't always get what you pay for.

"BIRD DIRT MARKS - cheap etched kite marking on glass"

New front door fitted 7/04/17 by the company you recommend.I liked the Solidor I handpicked out on your website. My complaint is the kite marking on every 12 small windows it looks like a bird muck mark on every 12 glass units. My Wife and I hate it. Have spoken to Solidor but with no solution. Not seen this on any of doors on the web or on house doors in my area. Kite marks has been cheaply etched on and could of been black printed like car windows. Would of look so much better. SHAME !!!.I invite the CEO to see what he thinks.See if he is happy because I'm not.Great Door rubbish looking glass.

Our new Solidors are perfect and Brilliant, we had a flint 3 front door with matching side panel, fitted by the boys from Clear Choice Home Improvements. We also had a back door at the same time, in the same colour.

Outstanding quality and massively improved the look of our house!!
