"Terrible customer service - never again"
Writing on behalf of my wife who travelled from Greece to Switzerland with our two little children. The words “inconvenience” and “bad experience” are understatements when it comes to Dohop’s service. I am fully aware that Dohop has no influence over the disruption of airlines’ flight schedules but they are fully responsible for a prompt reply to customers’ urgent requests, especially if you take into account that, according to the booking confirmation e-mail, the booking included Dohop connection service “which means you are about to enjoy a worry-free trip”, NOT.
When my wife saw that the first leg of her trip would be delayed, she called me and we both tried to contact Dohop’s hotline by two different phones but finally gave up after waiting for more than 30 minutes each. Then she sent them an SMS and an e-mail that was answered by a generic message to confirm that they received her request and nothing more. There was no guidance whatsoever regarding what to do to address this emergency and no feedback until 3 days later when they sent her a message to inform her what kind of receipts she should provide them with in order to investigate whether there would be any applicable cover options for her.
The rationale of having a customer line service working 24/7 is exactly in order to address these travel emergencies and “a high volume of queries” is not an adequate excuse. Luckily, she narrowly managed to catch her connecting flight thanks to a delay of Easyjet so I am glad to say that she will not need Dohop’s services in the near future and certainly not beyond that.

La compagnia aerea mi ha modificato l’itinerario di ritorno accorciando il tempo per prendere la coincidenza a soli 40 minuti, ovviamente insufficienti per il ritiro bagaglio e nuovo check-in. Ho contattato l’assistenza clienti, nella persona di Anastasia, che prontamente su mia richiesta mi ha modificato il volo al giorno seguente in maniera tale da poter usufruire anche di una giornata in più a Lisbona. Gentili, disponibili e celeri. Consigliatissimi!

The initial stress of missing a connecting flight in a foreign country was greatly alleviated by knowing that DoHop had our backs. They were able to reimburse our expenses related to the rebooking. What an amazing company! I highly recommend always booking with DoHop!
