I cannot begin to say how awful my experience has been. And I haven't even been paintballing yet! It's a massive scam and they will lie to you on the phone and in person and will avoid to send you a written response at any cost so they are not exposed. I have not been refunded, and I don't expect I will be but I won't let it pass.

To everyone in this thread, I ask you to report them. I have reported them to the citizen's advice burreau already and I am trying to find the trading association they are liable to and report them there too.

This is one of the responses I got: "We understand that you have seen numerous reports from other members of the public who have had similar issues with this company.

In order for trading standards to take action against a company it can sometimes require them to have received numerous complaints against a trader. If you do speak with anyone who has had a similar issue and not yet reported it then we would ask that they report the matter to ourselves either on 03454 04 05 06 or using the contact from on our website (search in the consumer's help, there is a form you can fill in).
If this company is planning to make a living by scamming people all over the place and ruining someone's plans for a fun day out and making money out of innocent people's misery, they should STOP trading or start making a decent work.

"Shameful Selling Tactics to Under Age Children"

My 17 year old daughter was sold useless books of vouchers from these guys at Westfield shopping centre. They prayed in her naivety and gentle nature and conned her into parting with $190! She didn't really understand what it was all about and that would have been obvious to the IPG sales chick. A shameful display of high pressure selling to someone who was ill-equipped to make an informed decision. On closer inspection of the books, the vouchers were a complete waste and a far better deal can be had elsewhere. Luckily the 10 day cooling-off period allowed her to get most of her money back, minus the $15 'admin' fee. Stay well clear of IPG!!

"IPG Upminster - Great Experience!!!!!"

I recently visited the IPG centre in Upminster. I attended in a group of 14 and had a great day. All members of staff were friendly and welcoming, made sure safety advice was given and was on hand to assist if needed. Throughout all dealings with IPG; sales, bookings and face to face staff interaction, I do not have any complaints and am highly impressed with the customer service afforded to me during each interaction.

I highly recommend the centre and can’t wait to book another paintball session.

My group included both genders and people of various age groups. All left the centre happy after an eventful day of fun and laughter.

"A Bangin' Day Out"

IPG spared no effort in making sure we had the most wonderful experience paintballing at one of their affiliated centres, Delta Force at West Glasgow. Booking procedure was concise and next to effortless - you contact them and let them know when you want to book, and then they phone to confirm the details of your booking, making sure you're prepared to get the most out of the day. Phoning up to add an extra individual to the booking was no hassle either, and followed the same procedure as making your initial booking.

The on-site staff were wonderfully helpful and made sure we were safe and sound the whole day.

After our day of paintballing we were contacted to make sure everything had gone to plan and that we were fully satisfied with our day out. IPG definitely come across as a company that care about their customers and we look forward to another day out soon!

We had a great time paint balling last week. The guys at Delta Force really made an effort to make our day enjoyable and we'll definitely be back for some more fun and pain!

"We were stopped at Holmbush shopping…"

We were stopped at Holmbush shopping centre by a representative of IPG and thought we would book my step sons 11th birthday party at Delta Force in Crawley.

We were promised it would be kids v kids and soft bullets. It was anything but. Proper paintball bullets and adults shooting at kids and throwing grenades. One of the children in our party was shot at point blank range.

We have complained and asked for our money back as it was far from the experience that we were sold. We only stayed for 2 games out of 14.

Firstly they are going to rip you off. The free bullets offer is only given for the final game. I promise you by then you’ll have bought hundreds more bullets at £7.99 per hundred. Secondly if you complain about anything the customer service skills are lacking.

Thirdly try and track this lot down! They don’t even know where their own head office is based. I was told Tithe Barn in Woking. Well the address given is one huge construction site. Then they state their office is in London Surrey! Really I thought that was two separate places? I did trick one guy over the phone who then admitted that he is based in Cape Town. Also payments go via Hong Kong.

Please just be very aware. You have no chance of a refund if you find that like us you were mis-sold your paint balling experience. And 100% this place is not for children.

I rarely give poor reviews. But I’ve had to notify the HSE and Trading Standards too.

"Day out paint balling"

Me and my mates had an amazing time paintballing with you guys. The games was amazing and it was such a good day. I have to point out that our field marshal Mohammad at Delta Force in Wakefield was amazing, he took care of us and was able to have a laugh with us. Over all the day was a laugh and was fun at the end of the day to be able to shoot my mates :)

"Absolutely fantastic place for…"

Absolutely fantastic place for paintballing with a small or large group. Our boys 30 plus loved it. The staff are helpful and the location is very decent. It may be a little hassle in getting there as the train station is at a distance, but once your there, all the trouble you may have gone through in getting there will swiftly be forgotten.

Amazing day out, from purchasing the tickets to the actual day everything was great, the staff, the price the easy booking and the 24 hour help line, the Customer service was great and really helpful when I had to update my booking more then once, all round 5 star service, we will go back time and time again, the whole group which was a mixture of adults and children just loved it.
