"Missold and still no refund"

I would would not recommend buying from this company. I bought tickets for my sons’s birthday and was told that we could claim free paintballs in the morning even though it said at the end of the day. I bought on this basis as I had explained that we couldn’t stay all day and other competitors were cheaper and offered free paintballs within the package. When I called to book, this was not the case at all. I sent the tickets back straight away. 2 weeks after receiving them I got told I would get a refund but that it would take another 28 days! This against the Customer Contracts Regulations and refunds should be back with the customer within 14 days. Given that the money was taken from my account immediately, it is completely unacceptable that it should take 6 weeks to refund £70. I explained this early last week to IPG and requested that the money be back with me within days. I then emailed IPG yesterday and have not received a response. Appalling customer service and misleading sales tactics.

"Misleading and obstructive"

WARNING: after finally getting our refund the IPG group had trustpilot remove our review saying we were not a real customer. I had to prove the purchase and refund.
IPG will ask you to send back all tickets, send them tracked and signed for, KEEP COPIES.
I was sold tickets specifically for my son and his friends. I was explicit that I had no interest in paintballing myself. When we tried to book months later, the places we described as within reasonable distance are all for over 18's.
The only staff you can contact are more sales staff and all they want to do is book you or get you off the phone.
I raised the complaint by phone, was told to do so by email, then a week after that told to return the tickets, then a week after that told the refund was being processed. Still no refund a month after raising the issue that the tickets were mis-sold to start with.
Avoid. Barely more than a scam and likely there are places you can buy locally who are cheaper.

Went paintballing with IPG after meeting some of their guys at the shopping centre. Great bunch of lads and had an awesome time at paintball

I was sold tickets by a very friendly gentleman in a shopping centre, who was very helpful and after I declined his various offers to try and buy the tickets, he eventually said he would give me the "Silver Package with 20 FREE tickets and 2000 free paintballs for only £69.99" - almost too good to be true. It was.
After the initial excitement of thinking about how much fun the paintballing would be, I read the small print. The 2000 free paintballs are clearly not that free - you have to use them 100 at a time after about 7 hours of paintballing. Although yes it is technically my fault for not reading the small print before purchasing, it wasn't made very clear at the shopping centre.
I tried to get a refund on the tickets and sent them off, and haven't heard anything back. I have phoned the hotline many times to be told it takes 21 days for the refund to even be considered and one of the agents will get in contact with me for my card details.
I'd advise anyone to not purchase anything from a pop up stall in a shopping centre without scrutinising the sales advisor.

Sale is based on HIDDEN COST PROMISES.

IPG don't have their own paintball base (PB) in Dublin, not sure about other world places. It is BOOKING CENTRE ONLY, like broker or agent.

For children 14-17 cheaper contact directly the centre.

Do not buy it from IPG sales guys at the stalls. "It will cost you only €60 = 10 entry tickets and I'll give you 100x10 free paintballs". Sounds good? WRONG. Hidden costs pay their bills.

When booking, MUST BUY FIRST 100 balls €15 per person, because the free ones cannot be used at the beginning of the game. READ T&Cs.

FURTHER INFO DEPENDS ON THE CENTRE
Game starts at 10, MUST BE THERE 9:15am, until 4:30pm if you want to use your free balls. Not possible to stay there untill 3pm with 100 balls. Must buy more to realy enjoy the game. READ PRICES each base have their own costs.

If you still going, don't forget to register your free balls together with "entry tickets". If you won't, you may not get them for free.

"Hen Party"

Brilliant company from start to finish. Simply process from purchasing tickets to booking venue. Marshalls at venue are awesome make you feel really welcome and encourage you throughout the day. Really made the experience for my group and made the hen feel special for the day. Would recommend to anybody looking for a fun filled day out.

"i feel scammed"

although the staff at the thetford paintball centre were mainly friendly, the other half of them didnt have any time to answer my questions. especially those regarding the ipg tickets i bought at a university event. the tickets claim to come with 9 free tickets and a free 100 balls each. the woman on the phone seemed adamant that these tickets are valid at thetford however once i arrive they did not qualify for any of the perks except free entry. I feel very betrayed.

"What an absolute scam"

What an absolute scam. Bought at a pop up stall (never a good idea for anything tbh) seemed liked an amazing deal. They talk so fast and lure you in, basically the £50 or £70 deal or whatever they lure you in with works as follows: Upon arrival YOU HAVE to pay £9.99 per person upfront to get 100 paintballs. (The gift card thing basically gets you "free kit"), people usually use 100 or 200 paintballs per hour. IT IS ONLY AFTER 2PM that they let you get the "100 free paint balls" but by that point you have each spent a small fortune on paintballs. So unclear, and I suspect it's unclear for a reason... once you're there hosting a party/stag do whatever its too late to make a fuss in front of everyone.

Yes it sounds to good to be true but there are hidden costs if you have never done paintballing before. We just received our refund after falling for the amazing offer sold be a local rep in our town selling the 10 free vouchers and free games.


You will have vouchers to use in the £70 game deal for 10x 100 free paint balls but this can only be used at the end of the day in the final game and can not be used during normal game use.
When you book for very first game using the £35 game vouchers you will have to pay an additional £9.99 person for 100 paintballs each this can not be excluded when booking your game.
The issue is this this if you are going to spend a full day doing games in any of the venues 100 paint balls will last you may be 2 games maxium and you will find your self needing to purchase additional paint balls at various cost from £6.99 per 100 when bought by the 2000 paintball at £139
£7.99 per 100 when purchased in bulk of a 1000 paintballs at £79.99

Please do not think that you can play all day on just 100 paintballs on average most players will use between 200 to 500 paintballs in one day if you are not trigger happy and carefull.

For a family of four like my family we worked the cost to be around the following ...…..
£70 to get the 10 free games, with no offer the cost is £140 for the day.
4X £9.99 for 100 free paint balls per person when booking.
1000 Additional balls will be another £70 to share between my family 4 player.
In total to have a full days entertainment will cost £180 using the free game offer. if you don't use the 10 game offer add £140.

So please be fully aware of the costs before paying the £70 for the 10 free games if it sounds to good to be true then it probably is this is a very expensive day out and food is not included in the offer.

"When a marshal took a bullet in the neck for me"

Me and my group had a fantastic day at Delta force Orpington. We booked through IPG and the process couldn’t have been made easier. Once we arrived everything was explained quickly and simply and any questions we had throughout the day were answered for us. Very helpful staff and a great facsility all around even with the bad weather. I will definetly be returning again in the near future. Thank you for a fantastic day
