"Scam"

I've been scammed by the one of the ipg seller in a westfield stratford.He told me that its only one stop away from stratford so i thought easy transport place and i agreed to pay £40 Later on i called and booked the place and paid around £21 for the balls.Only when i received directions i realised how far is this place, 1 and a half hour journey on a public transport and once you get to the upminster station 45 min walk or a taxi ride costing 7 pounds.He lied to me for selling the tickets, this is not fare and unacceptable i sent refund request yesterday with special delivery.Today i received a call from the center saying the price ive paid for the balls is not refundable and i'm welcomed to use them with free entrance .Its a scam !!! I want my money back

"Great venue. Excellent 10th birthday treat!"

My son had decided that he wanted to take 3 friends paint-balling for his 10th birthday. I had started to look at the options, when we came across one of IPG's stalls in Banbury one weekend. The deal we were offered seemed good value, being slightly cheaper overall than booking the party direct.
Here is a small word of warning - make sure you know what you're buying. I was happy with the value that we got (we have 4 tickets left over for next year), but those people who have left bad reviews seemed to have been sucked in by the sales pitch and hadn't checked the deal out properly before purchasing. As I understand it, IPG do not run the paintball venues, they are a 3rd party (think of them like Groupon or Wowcher). All of the issues that have been complained about are clearly stated on the pack that you are given and on the website.

The actual venue, Delta Force Milton Keynes (which is very misleading as it is a good 20 miles away from MK, while only 8 miles from Banbury), was faultless! Our party consisted of four 9/10 year-old boys and 2 adults. We were put into a group of around 50 players (all children or young teens), split into 2 teams. The staff explained everything thoroughly and with a good mix of humour and seriousness. It was very clear that their #1 priority was safety, with fun coming a close 2nd.

Our 2 marshalls, Jasper & Sophie, were absolutely brilliant! They kept tight control on the games, were calm and professional at all times, and made sure that everyone had a great day. Sophie even 'de-gassed' 4 of the guns so that I could take some pictures of the boys, outside of the game area, at the end of the day.

In summary, I would say if you are looking for a cheap day out - this isn't it! Buying a few more paintballs here & there can really mount up, and you would be surprised how many paintballs a bunch of kids can get through! However, if you want a great day where you can run around, playing soldier and burning loads of energy, in safety, then this is highly recommended!

"Mis~sold at Tesco /Scam~poor customer service"

I was sold 2 voucher packs which included 2000 paintballs for a days paint balling at a venue of my choice outside Tesco Extra St Neots.I was told that other than buying a few more balls if needed there would be no extra cost involved for my son to enjoy his birthday treat.I called them on 08444775155 and asked to book a days paint balling as I had the vouchers already,I booked to go to Milton Keynes and after I had gone through a few details with them I was asked for a payment of £100 which was for 100 balls each and a small booking fee, I explained I had the vouchers which was sold to me as that was all I had to pay,the person I was speaking to then said that the 2000 balls I already had paid for were for the Hunger game at the end of the day and I was told I need to buy 100 balls each person for the games in the morning .This was not explained to us when we bought the vouchers otherwise I wouldn't have bought them. The person I spoke to still said I need to buy more balls and the ones with the voucher were for the final days game.
The customer service was to say poor is been polite they didn't careless what so ever that what had been sold to us was totally opposite to what they were asking for .
The voucher is for 2000 balls and up to 10 players yet if we want to do it we have to buy more balls and pay more money .
Reading other reviews on this site the company just seem to send people out to mis-sell to as many people as possible
If anyone at ipg VIP reads this please can you arrange a refund for me asap . We have had to rearrange our sons birthday treat and book something else for him and his friends to do which has left him very disappointed, as a company you should feel very ashamed of yourselves as what you are doing by mis-selling is nothing short of fraud.

Had the best day paintballing for my daughter's 16th b'day. Myself, my brother n 6 16 yr olds were treated so well by the whole team from the minute we arrived. From the greeting, to the safety chat to the war zones lol. Nothing was a bother. They sorted my daughter out all day with 5star treatment from upgrading her gun to sorting out her b'day cake....in horrendous weather conditions lol. The team were both professional n very down to earth.....gr8 craic with them. They made the day. Well done to the Belfast Team. Will defo be back 😉

"Great! Total opposite to what we expected"

Manchester, 16 yr old girls & 2 olds(1with ms) what a team! We couldn't wait to do it but we were all dreading it! We walked thru the equipment allocation in awe, my wife said she felt like Private Benjamin!! The girls just got on with it & all did as we were pleasantly but politely advised... Because nothing was too much trouble, nobody made you feel small. The marshals on the actual zones amazing - Josh B you were so so caring & helpful with so much positive encouragement, we had a blast, literally!
So go, forget your age, your worries & any problems you may have - they sort it all out so you can just be like everyone else & enjoy your day!!

My self along with 14 member visited Delta Force Upminster center for Paintball on Oct 2016. Must say venue is excellent, superb service. Co-operative & helpful staff.

Do not book via IPG!!

I purchased a mini-paintball party at the 2016 Kent Show from IPG. The subsequent interactions with IPG were friendly, although I was surprised that I had to pay more upon booking.

We arrived at the allocated paintball centre for my son's 10th birthday to discover after the first game that the venue wasn't a mini-paintball but instead adult paintball venue. The kids had been repeatedly shot at by foul playing adults and as a result were shaken up & upset. It was a joint party that left both birthday boys in tears. The staff at the venue did their best to help us make the most of a bad situation but the fun day we'd paid for & expected didn't happen. It was a very expensive and extremely disappointing day. We had driven 10 children on a 2+ hour round trip to the worst birthday party ever!

Myself & the centre complained to IPG but 4 days later I've heard nothing from IPG other than "someone will call you back".

"Scam"

I also got scammed via a Tesco promotion. Purchased the £60 deal which I was told would pay for the day unless we wanted to buy extras on the day. On ringing to book a date was told another £100 was required to complete the booking. Very disappointed.
