"Fun Day"
10 of us decided to go paintballing which we bought from outside our university. It included 10 tickets for £9.99 with 2000 free bullets. We all had a wonderful day out at the Orpington based site. It was really worth it. The staff were great in helping everyone - with helpful tactics and advices. The guns and uniforms were good - the only problem would be the masks blurring up inside while you're playing which can be fixed if you go to the Marshall and pay only 50p to clean the goggles with a special cream - it'll probably last for 20mins or so every turn.
I would definitely recommend others to have a go and enjoy themselves out there. Me and my friends are definitely looking forward to going again some time next month.

"Went with 20 people, 20 people absolutely loved it."
In my opinion, it is was a really good day. All my friends loved it. The guns available were awesome. Uniform looked great. Marshalls were brillint. Workers were all welcoming and fun to be around.
The only heads up is to bring money!! Paintballs can br quite hectinc and expensive to buy. Luckily we all had money to last for the whole day. Another problem would be the masks blurring up. This would really effect your game play.
But the day was brilliant, we'll defo be going back soon.

"SCAM promoted via Tesco Stores"
My 10 year old son son was recently shopping in Tesco Abbeydale road Sheffield with his Grandmother. Inside the store was a company selling Paintballing experiences and was promoting a "special discounted offer".
As he had recently been paint balling with some friends he asked his Grandmother if she could buy the offer £61.99 for his birthday. She agreed.
As his birthday is not until December we have done nothing with the vouchers until today. I was aware when he came home that the voucher was valid until 30.05.17 so there was not a problem.
There however is a problem. The company promoting their services within the Tesco store is committing, in my opinion fraud.
I have today looked at booking his party for the end of the summer holidays. I know very little about paint balling, not does my son or his grandmother.
However this morning I have been researching and hence my comment about fraud.
A "normal" party for an 11 year old group of 10 children, with 500 paintballs (the minimum really required for a good party) at most paint balling sites would cost between £275.00 - £350.00.
When looking at the voucher my son has, we were expecting a price to be less than this, after all is is a special offer with the Tesco store.
I am sure you will be as surprised as I am to find out that a comparible party with IPG would cost a staggering £561.00 or over double my cheapest alternative quotation.
How can Tesco possibly endorse companies that are being fraudulent and af course hide behind the terms and conditions although they are targeting in this case elderly and juniors who have no understand of what they are signing up to.
Sadly my son's birthday money has now been spent and he has nothing other than a worthless piece of card to show for it.

"Memorable day out for kids and big kids!"
A mixed group of mostly children aged 10-13 and a few parents, we went to Effingham Surrey paintball on a sunny day with soggy ground. Provided with uniforms, helmets and guns we then proceeded to enjoy lots of games, with different terrain, structures and defences for cover including an old London bus and a zombie church!
For the trigger-happy a lot of paintballs need to be purchased and you can end up spending quite a bit of money on these, although packages are offered to include grenades and gloves for example. You can upgrade to an 'M16' gun for a bit extra and I'd probably do that next time, although the standard guns are quite powerful enough and can spray plenty of shots when needed.
It all took place in a friendly and excited atmosphere. Once, when a couple of other boys starting shooting into a game from the 'red zone' (where players go if they've been shot), I reported it to the manager and he was very prompt to strongly reiterate the safety rules and the consequences of not following these.
The marshals are friendly and clear on instructions and very helpful in managing the games. Perhaps some kind of loud hailers or horns would help when the games stop as, when in full flight with a helmet on, it's sometimes hard to know. Not a real problem though, it all ran smoothly.
In summary a fun, safe and exhilarating day out for all and we were comparing our exploits and little bruises for days afterwards.

"Fun day shooting!"
Myself and five others took a trip to Effingham in Surrey for a day of paintballing with Ipgvip. Overall, we had a really good experience - the day was very well organised with a total of 14 games in 7 different game zones. The equipment available was of a high standard with overalls, body armour (although very hot on the day!) and paintball gun provided. We had the option of purchasing additional items such as smoke/flash grenades which was a really fun thing to try out. The marshals were very engaging and interacted well with everyone, giving good strategic advice on how to play the games. The game zones were pretty well designed with various obstacles and structures to navigate around.
Although really good fun, there were a couple of drawbacks. Firstly, it's pretty expensive - we managed to buy discounted tickets, however I'm aware that the online tickets come at £30 per person. After that, there's the additional cost of paintballs which adds about £40 to the bill. In addition, I thought that some of the games could have been designed a little better to allow a more dynamic, competitive game and prevent stalemates - maybe making head-shots count (although there is the safety aspect) or allowing players to re-spawn for a period of time in the game may solve this problem.
Other than that, there was nothing to complain about - a great experience! Would definitely try it again in future.

"Scam!!!!!!!!"
Brought special deal from supermarket promotion said would not have to paid any more money if I brought deal on that day. Brought for my grandsons birthday party when tried to book they wanted to charge me another £30.00 per child !!! All ready paid sixty pounds would not aknowledge the fact that I'd brought it on a promotional offer and been told that it was unlimited balls and that there would be no further charge, even though it says on it's own web site that you can sometimes buy deals from supermarkets at greatly reduced prices and to look out for them and these prices are cheaper than theirs own promotional offers. This company is well aware of what is going on and are not doing anything to change it, never have I dealt with such unscrupulous company get yourself sorted out and stop RIPPING OFF the public and upsetting CHILDREN

"Excellent day out"
We took a group of ten and eleven year olds to Crawley paintball centre. The staff were very good and helpful, despite it being a busy day for them. We decided half a day was enough for the youngsters and that was completely OK. The staff sent out for pizzas, all efficiently managed. The children had a great time were well looked after.
