"Absolutely terrible taxi company"

Absolutely terrible taxi company, totally unreliable and will rip you off everytime you get in the car. Travelled from Huyton to Speke and was charged £30….The same journey back with a different cab company cost £18….total rip off. Plus don’t bother booking them for a specific time because they never turn up on time. It’s always the same response “We haven’t got enough cars out”….Using Alpha Taxi’s from now.

"Not reliable"

Zero rating, ordered a taxi at 4.15 to pick us up at 7.45 on the app, kept getting your driver will be allocated, rang the office at 7.50 when no taxi turned up , no committed response to advise if and when the taxi was coming so we walked home in the rain. Very disappointed as usually okay.

"Was picked up over an hour late"

Was picked up over an hour late, driver was on the phone while driving, barely spoke a word of English and don't get me wrong I like different languages but the driver should be able to communicate full English, not only that the driver then decides he ain't gonna help a disabled man into and out of the vehicle, he didn't bother to help put the wheelchair into the back. And then the only English that seemed to come out of his mouth was about money and the fact his door WAS GETTING WET because the elderly man, needed to take his time to get out the vehicle back into his wheelchair. THIS COMPANY IS A DISGRACE, usually I'd use other taxi firms but all was fully booked and busy due to school runs and usually no issue with the rest. BUT THIS COMPANY WANTS TO EITHER BE SHUT DOWN OR COMPLETELY HAVE NEW DRIVERS WHO CAN DO THEIR JOB PROPERLY.

"No vehicles available, long wait"

Waited 20 minutes after booking, apparently only one taxi in Widnes!.
UBER arrived in 10 minutes

Everytime I use Britannia, they go to the wrong house! The drivers are usually nice when they do turn up but if you need a time sensitive taxi,walk.

They turned up 50 mins late. Hence we missed our train. Worst taxi company I've ever known. Avoid . Would give them zero.

Absolutely horrendous company. Don’t have a clue what they’re doing. Unreliable. Do not waste your time and energy) simply use every other taxi company other than this one.

"Turned up incredibly late and with a taxi too small to fit us for a pre booked booking"

We booked a transfer to and from Luton Airport. The outbound journey was great I can’t fault them, however on the way back they turned up over an hour late (despite me ringing and asking repeatedly) and with a load of people already in (so he clearly wasn’t waiting for us like the app said). To top it off (bear in mind that this was a pre booked taxi from weeks before the trip) they turned up with a taxi that was too small for us and our luggage and their solution was that they can take us but not our luggage. Clearly we went with a different taxi from the rank at the airport who we cannot fault. Sadly we will not use this company again and urge anyone else to be careful when booking.

"ROBBERS"

This company is a total rip off! My elderly friend (77) lives in Westminster Drive Haydock. Her husband is in Whiston Hospital seriously ill and she cannot drive. We couldn't take her this day. She rang this company to take her. They charged her £44, one way!!!!! FFS, it is 8.6 miles. Nearly £6 per mile. COVID rates I gather!!!!!

I told her to ring a certain other firm. Guess what, £20!!!!!

"Would never use again"

Would never use again. My plane landed at Liverpool Airport at 1.45am and I told them that once I had disembarked the plane and got through passport control I would ring them to let them know I was leaving the building so they could pick us up on the car park. The driver was told to be there at 1.45am. He had already left the car park and had to return to pick us up. I was quoted £38 which included the car park charge. I got charged £53 because the driver had paid £15 in car park fees. On what planet can your plane land at 1.45am and you get in your taxi at 1.45am? Britannia are an absolutely useless, unprofessional company.
