I have a breakdown and the guy that came out was really fast and polite he stayed with me and the escorted my to the ford show room I bought the car from as the engine had a fault it was then fixed under manufacturer guarantee as it was a fault by ford. He help me get there to the garage side and even posted the keys so I could leave car getting a Uber home.

Wasn't a perfect start, arrived at fitting centre and staff had no idea who I was, no confirmation or knowledge of booking. When called RAC, I spoke to a polite CSA lady called Emma, she made some calls and promised to call me back, upshot, she sorted it all out, and tyres fitted a.m next day 5 stars to Emma 👏🏻👏🏻

Turned up at my allocated time to be told that the garage are fully booked and couldn’t do my tyres for 3 hours. What’s the point in booking a time if the garage aren’t told about it?

Booking process was a little confusing as said only 6 centres in my area and then when clicked on one opened up many more options.

I purchased four Continental tyres for my motorhome, Continental technical department said the tyre valves required need metal high pressure valves, this was disputed by 3 of the tyre fitters that RAC had tasked with fitting these tyres, no back up from the RAC, as according to the email they have no technical department, you think you are dealing with the mighty breakdown company, evidently not, wouldn't recommend as no concern for safety or the manufacturers recommendations, and the audited tyre companies they use.

Awful service. Did not turn up to fit tyres. On calling the fitting company I was told that they had not received the tyres from RAC Tyres. I was upable to contact RAC tyres for help, did not answer their customer service line.
