Very good service delivered in 24 hours (even expected 3-5 days) at 10% better price than MyTyres.com which tooks 2 weeks for import the same tyres from Germany!

The Ruth Automobile Club not only provided the best deal on the rare tyres I needed, but Ruth's query handling style was incredible. Ruth deserves more than just an A, but I can't give her AA either, so RAC, you get 5 stars and you are A++ in my eyes!

The service I received was exception, Rick called me, was really friendly and cheerful, came out and fixed the car no problem, told me what was wrong, what he was doing, the whole works. His customer service was second to none. I am SO SO impressed. His number is 2036. A CREDIT to the RAC

Absolutely disgraceful breakdown service My husband broke down at 4.40pm they told him someone would actually be there at 9.15pm got a call from Rashid who could not find him now they are saying it will be 10.15 pm. Will not be getting my renewal there must be a firm out there who gives better breakdown service than RAC. He could be back home by breakfast.

I booked and paid to have two new tyres on my van and received email confirmation of my booking.
Arrived at the service centre to be told it hadn’t been booked in but they had some tyres delivered.
Called up rac lady said she’d booked me for later that day at a different centre
Arrived at the centre to be asked where the tyres were-according to them I was bringing them with me although this had never been confirmed over the telephone
Drove back to the first service centre to collect tyres
Got back to the first service centre who after trying to fit advise they can’t get the tyres on the van as the side walls are badly compressed from stacking.
So I had to leave with no tyres despite paying for them.
Took over a week to have an offer of 10% refunded with no explanation at all for the errors and no offer of an appointment!

Had to call to see when tyre fitter would arrive. Promised call backs that never came. Cancelled first date and was promised I would be first on the new date. Called RAC/ASDA/E Tyres (call centre acts for all three) and they told me to call fitter which I said no they should call them and they couldn't even connect with them. I decided to cancel the appointment and ask for a refund. Was told it would take 5-7 days to get money refunded. I emailed customer services and three days later not even had an apology. The fitter let the brand down and they should censor who their contractors are. What is really annoying is that the address for the fitting service they use is literally around the corner from the address that the fitting should have taken place.
The booking process was easy it just doesn't play out as they make it sound on the website.

7 days later still no refund on my failed attempt to get a tyre fitted. Maybe it is a regional issue but please do not trust this service. Customer service although polite cannot sort the issues. I am promised my payment back tomorrow after accounts department have received the credit note from the supplier none of which is my problem.

I really would like to see comments or even an acknowledgement from RAC Asda and the other names involved as to why this has gone so badly wrong.

Go check other comparison sites and then check rac tyres. 9/10 this will be the best price.
