Hi I just like to let you know that your engineer Marcullus Howes number 3743 who attended my car today did a fantastic job.The problem was that my car had been fitted with an immobiliser that was not working. Marcullus was punctual and rang to advise me what time he would be arriving. He quickly found the problem and disconnected the faulty system even though a locksmith sent on the previous day (from an independent company)had said it was a fuse but could not find the fuse box.
He was very polite and professional and a credit to the RAC
Also your agents on the helpline were a credit to your company. They kept me informed by text every 30 minutes to the status of my call and the engineer rang me to let me know when he was 25 minutes away.
Please could you pass on my thanks to everyone involved.

When my tyre blew I phoned the RAC. The tyre wasn't fixable so me and the car were transported home. Then I had the dilemma of finding a company that would fit a tyre at home because I had no way of driving to a garage. It was so reassuring to have an email from RAC Tyres with options for getting a new tyre. The website was incredibly easy to use and now I have a fitter coming to my home to get me back on the road. 5 stars!

It was cheaper to book the wheel alignment in Halfords through RAC than to book it directly with Halfords.

Ordered 2 tyres picked local garage and same day fitting, went to garage at agreed time they said the tyres were not available and would take at least 3days also had no order from RAC,I was totally embarrassed to say the least, got on the phone to rac no luck waited over 25 minutes before hanging up, so decided to send email no joy with that either did manage to get hold of someone who cancelled the order now waiting for refund, told the advisor if I go back online it will take my money and the same thing will happen no tyres in stock it’s a complete shambles, so please take this advice otherwise you’ll be stressed out

The service of ordering tyres for mobile fittings should be revoked. what should be a seamless transaction is a complete farce and will be sure to leave you very flustrated and absolutely foaming.

I just wish I'd read reviews before purchasing, my mistake and will not be doing again.

Ordered 2 tyres for mobile fitting on Wednesday for a Friday fitting, what could go wrong you say? Halfords apparently didn't receive full order but failed to communicate with RAC, each blamed the other with numerous things being said by both, the tyres were in... They weren't!!
Left with waiting for £163 back and having to go get tyres last minute as I have a long drive the next day, having to spend another £165 to get a local garage to do them same day.
I was offered an apology from RAC but not Halfords and nothing further. Why is this service being offered if it clearly has so many issues dealing with another party when communicating is key?
Very stressful and disappointed unfortunately
