"Not reliable"

Arrived at the tyre fitting centre but the tyre hadn't arrived. I came back an hour later but it still wasn't there.

Initially I thought ordering 2 new tyres through the RAC website was an excellent stress-free way to order. However, BEWARE, the garage I chose in the process told me I had paid 'over the odds' & I could have saved pounds if I had bought from them direct. I feel betrayed & have lost trust in the RAC!

Bought two goodyear tyers becuase they aere offering a £10 Amazon gift card.

I copied and pasted the code provided on their website but some reason it did appear on thier system. They could clealry see two tyres ordered and elegible irrespective of codes but refused to honor sending out the voucher becuase apparently I did not eneter the code so they would honor sending the voucher.

Clealry an unethical company just wanting to take order without any intentions of honoring their offers.

Just go to another reputable company and save the stree of dealing with company.

I will certainly not be sucked by their offers and use this company again,

I bought 4 new all season tyres , I chose my nearest garaged. Everything was very easy , arrived and tyres were waiting .Drove away very pleased with the service. I chose the RAC as they are a known brand name so I felt safe in the knowledge of dealing with them. Brilliant experience will use again. Thank you RAC .

"Excellent service"

To be able to order tyres on a Sunday afternoon and for them to be fitted by 1 pm the next day is truly remarkable. The fitter did an excellent and professional job and I am thoroughly satisfied. The receptionist at Smith’s Garage in Peppard Common managed my expectations well. They are clearly a small and very busy garage and I offered to reschedule if required however everything went to schedule and there was a pleasant waiting area with coffee and biscuits. I’d use this service again

"After a difficult drive home when…"

After a difficult drive home when caught out with a sudden snowstorm I decided that it was time to change from my original car tyres and fit winter ones, as we live at the top of the town and all roads home are via steep hills, and my wife has a back problem where’s bad fall could result in paralysis.
On finally reaching home our first job was to search the internet for prices, after looking at local garage prices my wife found the RAC tyres site which offered a good price per tyre and fitting at home for a very reasonable price.
Ordering was quick, efficient and confirmed within minutes.
Very impressed with the speed and prices and will definitely look to use them again

"DISGRACEFUL LIARS"

Waiting for recovery since 9AM. It's 5.30Pm already. "Assistants" bluntly lie promising a truck is arriving, which is not happening. They goal is to get rid of you not to help you out. Such a scam, such a disgrace!

"Terrible service"

Booked in, turned up, the garage has no knowledge of the fitting and says there is no chance of it being done today... Terrible service!

"Terrible, waste of time"

If I could give them zero stars I really would. This is a truly honest review. I purchased tyres from them to be fitted by a garage local to me. Turned up to my appointment but RAC hadn't had the tyres delivered. Tried to ring their helpline and after an hour on hold decided to try and get tyres elsewhere. Later in the day tried to ring the helpline again but after being on hold for another hour gave up and emailed them. After a few days wait for an email back, they were filled with excuses which started with they had a lot of orders to the delivery van broke down. They didnt know anything about the failed delivery until I told them. Several days later the tyres still hadn't been delivered. Had to wait 5-7 days for a refund. So they take your money instantly but wont give it back that quickly. Lack of care, just want to make money quickly. Speaking to the garages that I went to they said they get this problem alot. Please avoid.
