"I recently bought an Audi A4 Avant…"

I recently bought an Audi A4 Avant B8.5, which is the second car I have ever owned, as i was into motorbikes in the past .

Knowing that unexpected repairs can get expensive, I decided to buy a warranty from Warranty Assist for peace of mind.

At the time, I didn’t have much mechanical experience, so when I started noticing some strange vibrations and noises while driving, I wasn’t sure what the cause was.

After some research and advice, I learned that these Audi models, especially with automatic gearboxes, are known for putting extra strain on the driveshafts because of the higher torque output. It’s a common issue.

In my case, the left driveshaft failed first, and not long after, the right one also started to go.
It was frustrating, but at least I knew by then what the problem was.

I contacted Warranty Assist to make a claim.
I'm not going to lie — the process was a bit long and detailed, with lots of forms, evidence, and steps to follow.
But in the end, it was worth it.

I was put in touch with Dane Walters from their team, who handled my claim.
He guided me through everything clearly and professionally, making the whole experience much easier to manage.

To be honest, I deal with people all the time, and unfortunately, I’m used to being treated poorly or rushed.
That’s why it actually caught me off guard when Dane handled everything so positively and with genuine care — it’s not something you see every day.

Thanks to their support, I managed to get the car repaired properly, and the warranty covered the cost as expected.
It was a huge relief.

This experience taught me a valuable lesson: having a good warranty is essential, especially when buying a used car.

I’ll definitely keep that in mind for the future — although to be fair, I’m really happy with my Audi and don’t plan to change it anytime soon.

As a small way of saying thanks, I’ll be recommending Warranty Assist to friends and family whenever they ask for advice about buying a car.

"My car needed repairs"

My car needed repairs, because it broke. Down. When I called them they said they was unsure if the problem was before I bought the car or after. If the problem was before I bought the car then they wouldn’t pay me out. To check this they wanted to send an inspector which would’ve taken a whole week just for an inspectors to come and inspect the car see if the issue was before I got the car. They booked the inspector a week after the car broke down. I was also asking for a courtesy car and they couldn’t provide me one, fair enough . On the day the inspector was meant to come, I phoned to confirm because they said he would’ve came on Thursday, I took a whole day off work to wait for the inspector because they said he’ll come 9-5. Wheh I phoned in to see when the inspector was coming, they said he wasn’t booked or they had no clue and it was up to the other team. Wheh I asked for the inspector team details they couldn’t provide me it and said he’ll get back to me when he never . I spent a whole week waiting just for an inspector which they didn’t Even book it because they put on ‘hold’. Bad service !!!! Just hung the phone up previous as well. What was the point of me paying for warranty if I went through this hassle. It is in the data base name was Mohammed Nawaz literally spoke on the phone not long ago white Mercedes c250. Sorry but your two paragraphs are completely false. I did give them time to book it. The inspector literally did confirm a date and time! As I said Thursday 8-5 they literally called me and said they booked that time. Then they didn’t show up on that day nor the time. I did give them time to book it. So both are false, they confirmed a date and time I gave them time to book it and no one showed up. My car was left there for weeks. I had to pay my own money to get it fixed as i previously state to your team that it my only car and I needed it repaired asap. But there was no empathy yet made me wait weeks currently nothing has been done and I’ve had to pay out my own pocket . Warranty is basically useless for me as of right now hasn’t done me any good. And you can’t confirm and say we don’t cover pre existing faults you don’t even know if it is pre existing because the inspector didn’t even show up because he wasn’t booked after they said he was !!!! So you can’t say it was pre existing since you don’t know !

"Good to work with"

When contacting Warranty Assist Customer Service Team for advice and help in a repair matter, we found them to be helpful with information and guidance on how to procedure. Also when repairs where completed they where prompt in reimbursement.

"1 star is generous! "

They don't even deserve the 1 star! Honestly, the worst company I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with! After 5 weeks of back and forth, trying to sort an issue with my car, I thought everything was resolved but now they're finding more reasons to delay paying out! Absolutely ridiculous! Happy enough to take my money tho 😃
