"Bunch of crooks"
Bunch of crooks. They never stand by their advertisement of refund if you don't like their wine. Wine is on average is C+, C- unless you order a bottle for 30-40$( which they claim is already deeply discounted for Angels only), which is not the case. The whole organisation is a sort of religious cult. They scratch each other's backs, praise each other without any substance and peddle mediocre wine. You'll do better if you buy 8-9$ wine in Harris Teeter or Wegmans. Last case was damaged and messed up but they did not bother to provide a proper refund. Stay away if you could and don't pay them a monthly contribution. Whatever was taken from your account you would never get back.The only thing they really care about is the profit margin, as a result you get mediocre crap. Never seen such a mean and rude customer service in my life. The worst of them is manager Bobby, was already drunk at 2 pm Pacific time on December 31 2022.
P.S. 01.07.2023 Now nakedwines.com want extra details. If I don't provide them trustpilot would take my review out. Hypocrites!. They never read my review. Nakedwines.com had deleted my account with them and now they are not able to find it, nice people aren't they, posting a reply like they do care. There is reason why they deleted the account, so no one can evaluate them.

"The Case of the missing Wine Case and Customer Service!"
I ordered a case of wine on 12/16/22 and the shipping label was created on 12/20/22. The tracking has been showing this statement since 12/20. Estimated delivery:
The delivery date will be provided as soon as possible. I reached out on 12/26 and received an email on 12/28 saying that they'll get the warehouse team to track it down and I may hear back from them in 3-4 days. Needless to say, we didn't have this wine for the Christmas weekend like it was intended for and now we'll not have it for New Years weekend either. I asked them to send another case and that I'd pay for the original if it ever arrived. I also asked them to have it at my house by 12/31, but that request has gone unnoticed. I'm honestly not asking for anything for free, just the wine purchased within the time frame that they advertised. One day I might see Order Number: 35590920 come in, but I have no idea what year that will be... My friend who recommended this place is now going to be cancelling his Angel Account due to the poor service and response that I've received.

Wanted to give this company a try and never got the package. Not sure if it was never shipped or got lost but other than the tracking#, there's no additional information they can provide. Reading through reviews, this seems to be a common issue so I think it's just the way they handle orders.

"Dreadful customer service and delivery…"
I ordered and paid for their special Christmas case which was due to be delivered between 14th Nov and 30th Nov.Then the delivery date was put back to 8th Dec-17th Dec. I still don't have my wine. All I have are excuses, Black Friday caused a back log, now its a technical hitch in the warehouse This is very poor customer service. I just want my wine . Needless to say I won't be remaining an angel after this experience

I tried a year or 2 ago and have received many emails asking me to return. To be honest - I sent a referral to a friend who likes the service. The wines are fine. I just feel I have enough wine and to have to think about frequent shipments is less enticing to me than picking up at the store. You can stop at any time and cancelling is easy - I'm not sure about the others on this site but I think they are easy to cancel and very nice about it - with a quick confirmation email. I am not really sure how they do that because they offer such an enticing initial offer (I would pay more for that first case of 12 wines - they're pretty good and the initial offer is so inexpensive). However, I just don't like subscriptions that much - but perhaps if I was having an event I would go on and just buy the wines. I would like the "angel" price without the monthly fee - it would be a nice way to stock a cellar or purchase for a party. I get it though - and perhaps would ask them if I ever needed a bunch of wine for an event. The bottles are not what you see everywhere - so it is unique.

"Delicious wine"
The people complaining do not bother to read terms and conditions. I LOVE their wines and if you don’t like a bottle they refund you. If you elect to be an Angel you pay 20 or 40 a month which you use for future purchases. Of all the wine I’ve had there was only 1 bottle I didn’t care for and they refunded me. Highly recommend.

"Misleading Marketing...pain to cancel"
Firstly, the marketing is pretty misleading. I received a code from a Shutterfly order. Based on the little flyer, I thought I could just order a case to try it out, but right at the end of ordering you see the fine print. I saw it late and realized I signed up for a subscription....that I don't want. I immediately messaged them right after and they said they'd contact order fulfillment....fast forward a few days later I get a response that they already shipped my order and can't cancel. They offered to allow me to return it, which is good, but it's infuriating that I realized my mistake right away and it was shipped anyways and now I have the hassle of returning a bunch of wine I don't want. I wish customer service and order fulfillment didn't have such a lag time. It feels more like they do this in hopes that you'll keep it and they can churn a profit. Lesson learned: look for fine print everywhere and if a deal sounds too good to be true, it probably is. In a positive note: customer service was at least polite

"Unauthorized"
They have been ordering boxes for me and taking $40 a month from my account without my authorization. Once I realized, I quickly tried to call and cancel my subscription, got no answer. Was finally able to cancel my subscription online, haven’t got any random box orders but they have still been taking $40 from my account UNAUTHORIZED, despite me no longer having a subscription and changing my card numbers. There’s no way to take down your profile or ask for a refund in the app. Wrote an email this time, it’s been a week and I still haven’t heard back.

This is NOT a scam! Sheesh, people! It’s a cool business model that delivers wines from around the world without going to a store. Those who allege it’s a scam are NOT reading the promotional details—and that’s on them! If someone is getting an unexpected charge after signing up and they aren’t monitoring their credit card charges—that’s on them! The signup explains the terms pretty clearly!!
I’ve had this service for a few months, and I really like it. I even used the service where one of their team members just picks wines for me using my account balance, and I like that too!
I just got a thermoelectric wine cellar so I can stock up a bit and offer guests a nice selection of different wines.
The app lets you rate your wines (easy to by scanning bottle labels), and that helps with finding more of what you love. Winemakers seem to appreciate the feedback, and they are gracious even when someone doesn’t like their wine.
I’ve enjoyed maybe 15 bottles so far, only one was “meh” (and I quickly got a discount for that experience).
This, to me, is a great business model.
My suggestion is, READ the promotional offer, and enjoy the trouble-free service that Naked Wines provides. Recommended!

"Long time user"
I have used this service for about 3 years and have been very satisfied. I even suspended the service for a few months while we moved and had a change of living circumstances. Everything has been handled smoothly and well. Now that we have renewed the service in our location across the country we continue to be happy with the service and all the wines we have received. It is necessary to read and pay attention to the details. Absolutely no scam going on here. Just excellent service and communication.
