"Hoping they make it right"

Edited to update - Naked Wines has apologized and has agreed to refund my purchase price. If that happens in a timely manner, I will update this review.


I ordered nine bottles of wine as a Christmas gift. I was impressed with the $100 discount.
I placed my order, paid the $49.95 and was given an "arrive by" date.
When I checked the status of my order (it had not arrived at it's destination) I discovered that my order had been sent back to the shipper.
No notification that my gift wasn't going to be delivered; no refund of my money.
Why? Because I didn't want to be an "angel" and have $40/month charged on my credit card? If that is the case, I should have been made aware that being an angel was a prerequisite to getting the $100 off deal.
So far, the customer service at this company is atrocious and unacceptable.
Unless you want to be disappointed, do not order from this company.

"Multiple charges to card, cannot cancel"

Got a voucher of theirs and used it, the wine tasted great. but then 2 months later i noticed the charged my credit card, and they make thier website such a maze to figure it out.
you cant completely cancel your account, only downgrade, you cannot erase your Billing info, terrible. Basicly they were hoping I wouldnt notice they keep charging me??

"I ordered the 15bottle special with the…"

I ordered the 15bottle special with the holiday voucher and my order was supposed to be delivered by UPS on 12/8 we’ll, it wasn’t. I immediately contacted NW and the rep stated that the shipping dept. was going to submit a claim which which they did but, I was also told that I had to wait 4days to hear back via email ONLY. Why only email. I contacted ups and they called me back to tell me that the gps reading didn’t show the delivery vehicle stopped at my house. I contacted NW to notify them and they truly sound like a broken record. The rep that I spoke with on 12/9 was extremely rude, talking over me and lied about contacting ups. Today the rep was even ruder stating nothing can be done other than wait. When asked if they other rep called she placed me on hold to tell me that her co-worker didn’t hear back from the shipping team even though she guaranteed me she was going to call ups herself. So that was a lie and a tactic to get rid of me on the phone. I was yet again just to wait when I know and they know the wine was not delivered. Why do I have to wait for them to process a refund? If the wine got lost/stolen is not my problem. I guess is standard procedure for this company not to be helpful, avoid calling customer and when all fails lie. This is the worst company I had ever dealt with. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE.

"I received a voucher for 100"

I received a voucher for 100. I ended up still spending 80. I ordered a bunch good prices I thought cause of discount..Rip off, they signed me up for Angel promo. I contacted customer service to explain don't want to be Angel. I was told how to cancel but it's not letting me... very angry an disappointed. Will not be using this again. FRAUD

"I got the card"

I got the card, I think they should have different levels to save up for, like 15 (1-2 a month), 30 (2-4 a month), and $45 (5+ for the daily). Outside of that, I don't think people in general pay attention, understand and read what the company is offering.

"Geat wine club"

We initially became aware of NakedWines when, interestingly enough, we purchased a barbeque grill. There was a voucher inside and we decided to give it a try. We've been "Angels" for about two years and couldn't be more pleased. Our orders always arive within three days, some one day after placing our order. We haven't had one bottle that wasn't pleasing and many have been exceptional. Emails often offer very interesting information. Do this!

"Service has declined"

Service has declined. Can’t get through to customer service. And they don’t respond to their chat email system. Deliveries are delayed with Fed Ex message ‘delivery delay request. I never requested a delay. The wine has been good in the past. Very disappointing. I won’t be ordering again.

"Got my first order of Cabernet wines"

Got my first order of Cabernet wines. Terrible wine quality. Young wines with no depth, no taste. Glass of Water will probably taste better. Providing a gift voucher of $100 is a hoax. Two buck chuck tastes far better

Naked Wine- not good!
A mixed bag of cheep wine.
Sulfur, hart burn, my wife’s face broke out twice. Just had to throw it away.
1 ok Cabernet, other than that, very disappointed!
