Illegally signed me up for a recurring charge on my credit card without disclosing it. I scoured all language before redeeming an offer sent to me in mail and after redeeming, they added me to an "angel list" monthly subscription. It was disclosed NOWHERE. I wouldn't have signed up if I knew this.

Purchased a single box of wine using a voucher. Didn't like it so didn't place any other order. Then realised they have been quietly taking money out of my account every month for the last 4 months! Signed me up on a membership without my knowledge or consent, probably hoping I would notice. Had to issue a formal complaint with Amex. Checked the rest of the reviews and it seems like a pattern for them. Avoid at all costs!

My husband fell for the first buy, and the next thing you know, Naked Wines is hitting our bank account monthly. BEWARE of the "No Commitment" tags. They are BS! He NEVER signed up for monthy service & even though Naked Wines was taking a monthly fee of $40, we NEVER received 1 bottle of wine, until a service representative called him to see how the "wines" met our expectations. What Wines, he asked. This woman who called, respectfully, apologized & indicated that this happens frequently! We totally respected her honesty, which obviously, isn't what you'd expect. She apologized again, & offered to send some wine to us to make up for the cost that we'd unexpextantly occurred. My husband accepted her kindness & advised that we preferred only white wine, and preferred Chardonnay. We received the wine, quite quickly, but NO Chardonnay! Just some cheap wine that can be purchased at any local grocery! We learned our lesson, & we hope this will help you on your own wine purchasing endeavors!

HORRIBLE SCAMMING WEBSITE!!! Tried one of their "Promotional trial case of 6 bottles of wine. Got the wine that I paid for. Now 5 months later I checked my credit card statements and turns out I've been getting charged $40 from this company without my approval. Called customer service and I was told that I agreed to be charged and that they have notified me with this email(Attached text below) that I will be charged $40.

A couple years ago I had a subscription with naked wines so my wife and I could try out new brands. We ended up having to cancel after a few months due to money issues from Covid. Everything is fine now so I decided to order from them again. Their website seemed much more streamlined but it was clunky and too simple with no real confirmation page. I just ordered a white wine mix from them the other day. When you select this mix it also shows you pictures to confirm what you are selecting. I completed the order and it sent me to a page with pictures of the types of white wines I would get since it is random. The email I got was an email that was mostly an ad with my order number. I also didn't notice but by ordering the mix it automatically puts you in a monthly subscription plan. I figured that I would keep it if I liked it, but it was not expecting it to just automatically sign me up for it. I got the box of wine and it was 2/3s red wine. Their box has a note in it that if you don't love every bottle there is a 100% money back guarantee. I emailed them that I would like to receive a call from their support team the following today. Instead of calling me they just sent an email saying I was logged as selecting the red and white mix and since the wine was already delivered it cant be returned, so they are only willing to give me credit on my next order. Your system logs my order incorrectly and you send me a credit for my next order. You can't even get one order right and you want more money to make up for it? Terrible business practices now I ended the subscription and I won't do business with them again. The deal was too good to be true, also both emails I got from them for my requested chat and cancelling of my subscription were snarky and rude. I didn't order the wrong wine, but it was just one of those there's nothing I can do responses.

I love Naked Wines. I signed up with a promo and found the terms to be clear. I’ve even put my account on hold to remain an Angel but be on pause for a little while when I was fully stocked. I enjoy most of the wines. Sometimes I’ll try a new wine and learn I don’t like it, but in those cases ive found it’s the varietal I don’t like. I also like knowing the wines are made by individual winemakers who really care about making great wines.

I answered their promotion and was told I would get an order for $79.95. I give all the info including the credit card then my card was charged $187.00 instead of the $79 which was promoted. I called and they said wine was not shipped to my state. Why then did they go ahead and charge my card the full price. Sorry just doesn't make sense. Sorry and good bye.

Previously I enjoyed having their wine and tried another box of delivery. However my package came with 15 wine VS 18 wine. 3 shortage of wine is not cool. I emailed them and never heard back. Disappointing.

I got an email from this company with a special offer. I decided to take part in their offer which required me to start a membership with them. I entered ALL my personal information and made a password only to find out that they don't ship to my state. So i figured, no big deal, i will just delete my account. NOPE. tried the "chat with us" button and nothing happened. Called the phone number and got disconnected the first time, called right back and got a message that nobody could answer my call because "everyone was training". I have emailed the company and am awaiting a response. Im also forwarding the information to FBI Cyber Crimes division to look into Data mining and phishing. THIS IS BS!!!! I could not even imagine if i had actually joined this and had them charging my card every month, only to find nobody picks up the phone. STAY AWAY!!!
UPDATE.. Still NO RESPONSE from the company. UNREAL!!!
UPDATE... Was sent a "right to delete" link to their website which does not delete my information. Also there is a link to a "right to delete form" which is apparently only valid if you are a California resident? My info cannot be deleted from their website and im oddly getting a ton of spam email now. SWEET!!
