"After making reservations in October…"

After making reservations in October for a March vacation, my aunt and I looked forward to a great month in Pawleys Island. Sadly we had to return home early due to a serious medical problem. After completing the necessary paper work, our claim was approved. I highly recommend RedSky. During the claim process the staff was very helpful, understanding and kind. I thank them for all the help I was given.

"Terrible Claim Settlement Process! …"

Had to make several calls and submit tons of information twice because they said they never received first set of required information even though representative verified claim. Sent registered mail 2nd time to make sure they received it. Kept switching who was the administrator for claim on each call which was several. Took way too long to settle 3 months. Would never use Red Sky if possible!

"Ski Trip - Covid"

We booked a ski trip for our family. We purchased insurance for the lift tickets and the ski rental. One family member's fiance came down with covid right before we were to leave, so they could not go. I applied for coverage and was told I had to submit a Physician's Statement. I submitted the covid test result from Walgreens since the person did not go to the doctor since it was not medically necessary to do so. They quarantined per the CDC guidelines. I was told that they had to confirm the test results with Walgreen or have the Physician's statement. Walgreens will not confirm covid tests over the phone since they are available online. After months of back and forth (email and phone), we had a doctor who had not seen the patient sign the form which asked questions such as 'Were your patient's Covid symptoms so disabling that they are unable to travel on the date of departure?' This seems to suggest that if a person had minor symptoms, RedSky would not cover the claim. I do not know why they would ask this type of question when people with covid are supposed to quarantine regardless of their symptoms. After 4 months we finally our claim was finally paid. I would think providing a positive covid test would have been sufficient for the claim to be paid.

"Happy with Red Sky"

In early June my wife broke a bone in her foot and we had to cancel a week at the beach. We filed a claim with Red Sky that I put in the mail on June 15. The claim was quickly approved and we received the check in the mail on June 25. Very happy with the service and prompt action.

"A few days prior to departure"

A few days prior to departure, one of our party suffered an injury which made the trip medically inadvisable. We made the appropriate notifications and cancelled our trip. We submitted the pertinent information to Red Sky and three months later we were fully reimbursed.
We were satisfied with the service.

Terrible service. I will probably never use this company again. We had a medical emergency with my dad. Process took forever.

"I was very pleased with Red Sky…"

I was very pleased with Red Sky Insurance. Will definitely use them again. My husband was in an accident while on vacation and we were able to get some money back from our vacation rental and they paid they reimbursed medical bills our health insurance didn’t cover

"I am grateful"

Fully expecting an insurance company to deny a claim, and then a fight to ensue, I am so grateful that the total opposite happened. I am relieved that, at such a stressful time in my life (my husband is in Hospice), that the claim was simple and supported by the Red Sky process. Thank you. A bright spot during a sad time for me.

"Be prepared for the unexpected:"

Unfortunately my well planned trip to Michigan was interrupted by a family emergency. Thankfully I purchased trip insurance when booking my Vacasa rental. Red Sky was very helpful and friendly as I worked through the necessary documentation required for a full refund. I will definitely use Red Sky again when booking my next trip.
