A genuine shambles of an organisation. Got initial quote, with promises of the work to be done for xmas. They finally showed up to start the work on January 7th, dug up a bit of my patio, then they tried to charge me another £2000 for extra work they did not know about. The builder pointed out on the drawings the "new" thing that Penicuik were talking about. It was on the drawings from the initial quote. I told them I was not paying the money, and they said they would put my garden back to the way it was. This has still not happened and they have left it like a building site. I was also promised a goodwill gesture, because they did not do the work on time, and I am still waiting for that. Avoid at all costs, they will say anything to get a sale, then the customer service was appalling.

To update on Pencuik's answer, sean the install manager emailed, 2 weeks later and offered different colour slabs, to fill the space they dug up (I would have a two tone garden patio) and offered nothing for the turf they destroyed by leaving the remnants of the patio on it. They also said they would fix it when it suits them. None of this was acceptable, as it was a cowboy fix to problems they created themselves. Avoid them at all costs.

"Bedroom Window replacement"

Hello,
Donald, the installer and his assistant Craig fitted our new bedroom window. The day was very cold and frosty yet they did an A1 job and left the area clean and tidy with minimal fuss.
The product is very good quality and we have noticed a huge difference in room temperature, especially on really cold days/nights.

Whole experience was a pleasure from start to finish and will definitely use them again.

Fitting carried out by ClearWin Ltd, professional from start to finish. A quick view of what work was to be done. Protective covering laid in all areas. Old widows removed with all mess cleared up inside and out. New widows fitted and again all mess cleaned up. Inspection of work done, followed a tutorial on how to use and maintain widows. Job well done and everyone happy.

Andy and Tommy installed my new windows today, they were polite, quiet, efficient and cleaned up after themselfs.
The rosewood inside and out uPVC windows look great, the once that are supposed to open well and they seem to be way more efficient than what I had before.The rest of the winter wil tell if that is true.

The fitters Donald and Craig were amazing, friendly and very professional, even helped me move my sofa in through the window.

Only issue I have with the process is after I paid the deposit in October I received no word at all from the company, I phoned up twice in December and the second time I was told they'd tried to contact me but the contact number didn't work (no signal). But rather than use the other contact number or E-mail address I provided it seems they just abandoned it until I complained.

The windows do look great though and I'm overall very happy with the service.
