"$Very smooth install but follow up support has been poor"

The installers Colin and Kyle were very efficient and worked from when they arrived until they left each day. The finish was very good and I am very pleased with the windows. Was is lacking is follow up support. During the install the it was recorded that one of the hinges was faulty and would require replacement with a new one despite chasing the office several times now I am still waiting for this to be rectified. My neighbour had a fault with one of his windows and a door and both have been fixed promptly. Since it is the Xmas holiday period now I am giving them the benefit of the doubt and still leaving 5 stars.

Kenny and Muir were great over the two day installation of the windows and doors, especially in freezing conditions that they had to work in. Very happy with the fitting and finish.

I am delighted with my new door and side panel. Only grumble is the wedge of grey silicone down the side of the dark green panel. No one ever mentioned 'silicone' and colours.
Craig, who fitted the door, was extremely pleasant, thoughtful, clean and tidy and dealt cheerfully with what I think was not a straightforward installation.
I was apprehensive about what was a quite radical change to,our front door, and did feel it was expensive, but I really am extremely pleased with it. Initial selling techniques are what lets the operation down!

Had 6 windows and 2 doors replaced and fitted by Penicuik about 4 weeks ago and thought their workmanship excellent.Very professional and polite workmen,done a great job and left the house very clean and tidy after they had finished all work.very happy with whole experience.Well done lads.

At first all was well only thing wrong was there was no vent for the bathroom window the fitter said eather he or a rep would drop it of next few days but that never came then the manager called to check our experiance he too said he would bring the vent but still nothing then another 2 people on the phone said "I will take a note of that" however still nothing i recived another call after i sent an email to there site and same story its now a few months later winter is starting an my bathroom is still freezing time to buy my own dam vent

Tuesday morning 9.30 Ian Smith came to instal a new front door, it looks great, he also tidied up all the mess and cleaned the door of factory marks. When we came to pay the outstanding balance there was a slight discrepancy between the final statement and the price we were quoted by the Agent, but a call to head office soon sorted that little problem out. So very happy with the outcome.

"We got a conservatory quote early…"

We got a conservatory quote early September and the only question we asked was "will it be done for Xmas?". A resounding "yes" from the salesman, no ambiguity. 3 months later, we are still waiting on a start date, and with the job taking 5 weeks, obviously no chance it will be done by Xmas. Turns out we were told a load of nonsense about when it would be done, warrents needed, how long it would take to build, from the salesman... Basically we have been totally mis-sold a conservatory. I have emailed Penicuik again today and will update once I get a response...

"New Windows"

Recently had 6 windows installed by Gary Scott . Very polite and very professional was always here on stated time. First class. Carpet and furniture was all sheeted Carefully removed old windows and clearing up all Derbis to leave house and garden neat and tidy. Once finished Gary took us round and showed us how to work windows. I am very pleased with my new windows and the finish of them. I would recommend penicuik to others
