"From start to finish this company…"

From start to finish this company really looked after us every step of the way.they came when they said they would and done a first rate job they also tidied up after themselves and they were polite and friendly without being obtrusive.The other good thing was they were quick installing everything and we didn't have to wait long for the job to get started.They were also very reasonable.very happy .

"I would not recommend Penciuk window…"

I would not recommend Penciuk window company to anyone but particularly elderly people. My mum had windows fitted in July of this year and was very happy with salesman and window fitters. Unfortunately there was residue left on windows and when she contacted customer services not only did they laugh at her and suggested that at 84 years old she cleaned windows with nail varnish remover which would involve her climbing a ladder approx12 feet high but they were very rude. I came back from holiday and phoned myself and I had pretty much the same response. I began E mailing company for an apology for my mum on 13/9/2018 and they have absolutely refused to apologise for their behaviour to my mum. Not only has this resulted in a very unhappy customer I am at a loss as to why this simple request is unable to be carried out. How unfortunate that the very good employees are now tainted with those in need of further training to deal with the general public, Eventually the installation team were informed visited and cleared the residue and the response to my E mail has been that the matter is resolved! Yes but on no part due to customer service but to my tenacity and what if some other elderly person did not have someone to speak for them. To be honest I am pretty shocked as all I asked for to resolve this matter was some improved training for staff and an apology for my mum. Therefore all the good work carried out by everyone else is totally lost as I would never recommend this company. I also advised in my first E mail that I was giving them the opportunity to deal with this rather than me posting a poor review.

Despite a couple bumps in the road due to miscommunication we are very happy with our new windows and door. The installation team were quick, efficient and friendly. The products are amazing and the difference made is immediately noticeable!

Bumps came from the fact we were miss-informed by the seller on where handles could be placed on a window, and that we got no time when the team was arrived (I was woken by a sharp knock at the door just before 8am!). It also wasn't great that our seller (as warm and friendly as she was) was in our house for about 4 hours, after being told she would be only an hour!

"Window Installation in our cottage - C/N U006589"

We have had six bespoke double glazed windows installed in our old cottage in Northumberland. It get's a bit chilly up here, plus the cottage is part of an old railway station at the side of the busy east coast line. Two day installation went very well. Totally happy with both the product and the installation team. The guys were cheerful, courteous and worked very methodically and tidily.
I have read some negative feedback about Penicuick. I personally cannot fault them.
House now feels warmer, and certainly quieter. Thanks.

"Excellent work"

Job was delayed due to another job being bigger than they expected, (this is unfortunately common in construction) but once they arrived on the Tuesday they did a superb job. Sean, the lead contractor on the day, was friendly and clear about what had to be done. Very organised and took good care of the fixtures and fittings around where they worked. Would definitely bring in for future work. 0007361

"DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY"

After having asked for our details still no word from this company. STAY AWAY FROM THEM WHATEVER YOU DO. They put it on Trustpilot that they will contact the householder but cannot even do that right they just don’t follow up on anything.

"Just had our windows fitted (government…"

Just had our windows fitted (government scheme UOO9058) by Dale & Ross who have done a brilliant job. Very clean, pleasant lads too. Over all experience so far has been very good. Just need a window pain changed to frosted glass which was a wee over sight by the company.

EDIT: Found our new bath was damaged & some windows including a vent were broken/Not working properly. Been in touch with penicuik several times to get someone out but no one will get back to us reguardless how often we phone them. No one as bother to get in touch re the plain bathroom window either. Not impressed at all now. Their good work has been undone by rudeness & a couldn't careless attitude.

"BEWARE OF PENICUIK WINDOWS AND CLEARWIN SCAMMERS"

This company is the worst Ever to deal with Ever.
We got in touch through government scheme and they asked have you had windows before so we said no they stated it would be Penicuik windows coming out to you. Jane Reilly was invited into our home and we were impressed with the sale of the product. DON'T BE FOOLED LIKE WE WERE we were MISS SOLD finance we complained and cancelled within less than 12hrs after Jane Rielly had been in our house for over 3HRS. We were not told our deposit of £349 was none refundable. I complained and Alan Begg contacted me 2x in an hour to state if I emailed Penicuik windows and clearwin my receipt I would receive a refund and he would back it up. FALSE THERE SCAMPERS STILL WAITING. TERRIBLE COMPANY WARNING. PLEASE BEWARE OF BOTH PENICUIK WINDOWS CLEARWIN. Jane Rielly and Alan Begg Very dissapointing

I called back to Customer Services to report this and was told that I would hear from someone from the company to discuss the matter

It is now nearly two weeks since I reported it and have heard nothing
