"Windows"

OK service but find it hard to get in contact with people on the phone always being transferred to different people. Was told by salesman I would get free insurance for a year but then received a letter saying they were taking £90 from my bank account for it. A couple of my personal items damaged by window fitters and also left a damaged sill that seriously wobbled phoned up to get it replaced as I wasn't happy with it. Not sure if I was dealing with Penicuik or the company who fitted the windows though

"Quality Windows & Service"

The service from the 2 guys who fitted my Windows & door was excellent, they kept me informed right from the start & throughout the fitting and the finish was fantastic, unfortunately it rained during the fitting and they suggested coming back on the third day in the morning to fit the door which worked out perfectly. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

I would have given 5 stars but I held a star back, this was because I wasn't informed that my blinds might not fit once the job was completed & to be fair I never gave it a thought, so I wasn't expecting this but it would have been good to have been told this might be the case. there was only a difference of 1cm.

But that aside I would recommend Penicuik for Windows and instillation, I got quality Windows and an excellent service, thanks Graham and Scott

"Very untidy workmen"

The salesman said the workmen would use groundsheets and there would be no mess left !!!

Workmen said they were not supplied with groundsheets, also one of them kept SPITTING all over our drive !!!

Left sawdust all over drive.

Excellent service. Had a small query in regards too a small amount of damage that was made (these things can happen when installing Windows and door) however was resolved swiftly and effectively

After reading reviews from others I was thinking twice about using Penicuik windows But happy I did go with you's windows looks great had a problem with a handle but when I asked the guys about this they sorted it straight away JOB WELL DONE

myself and my partner had got a contract for your company for fitting windows. 6 weeks on and still waiting for window to be sealed on outside & inside. fascias to be properly fitted . stickers taken of outside of windows. vents to be fixed sealant to be taken of the glass on outside. every time we call penicuik yous just pass us about. your workmanship is a disgrace. after care services are non existent. we are far from happy with the level of care and workmanship from this company. yous wont even talk to us regards to the price you expect us to pay for this shambles. i have been in contact with trading standards. Edinburgh evening news. and posted on social media . my reference number for this job is p48968. we would like someone from PENICUIK to contact us as this is who we went with and not a second or third party. we also need penicuik to talk to us regarding payment as they priced the job in at £6500. we will not be paying this due to the hassle ,inconvenience, days off, all the stress, calls you will not answer and keep telling us its to do with jobs worth doing. but yes. no one will talk to us as usual

Love my living room window but still waiting in extractor fan being fitted into bathroom window. At moment have a big square block of wood!
