we experienced nothing but unfailing politeness, total professionalism and courtesy from the initial contact with the salesman, through to people on the other end of the telephone but particularly with the two gentleman who came to fit our windows; it was a large job, taking 5 days but they were unfailing cheerful, very tidy workers and very respectful of our house and belongings, I was very comfortable with them being in my home.
I am also very pleased with the end result, looks far nicer than I had envisaged

The windows and doors were fitted fine. However since being fitted just over a year ago the front door lock went in February this year. We contacted Penicuik and said it was a priority as our front door was not safe. A repair man came in March and ordered a part. After phoning more than 20 times and sending emails it took Penicuik four months to send another repair man who finally came yesterday. He claimed the part had never been ordered and managed to completely destroy what was left of the locking system. Our front door stay opened last night.
We were going to have a conservatory built by Penicuik but we have now decided to go with another company.
I would not recommend Penicuik to anyone.

"Extremely bad experience"

Penicuik said the could supply the style of door we wanted and were told this was possible as they were the only company who still make their own goods. When they came to fit it we told them that the door side panel was not the one we asked for and were told it could easily be changed. This turned out not to be the case as the company they bought the doors from don't do that style.
We were lied to throughout the whole process from salesman to supervisor to fitters.
Would not recommend them to anyone.

"Patio doors"

Patio doors completed quickly and efficiently with minimal upheaval. Very pleased with the finished article. Two chaps who came to install were pleasant and courteous.On the second day the weather was horrible but they pushed on to complete the work without complaint.
