Had a visit from john brander today excellent chap very chatty easy to get on with was here about 1 hr took about 10 min before he started to speak about the windows sales tactic i guess 3 windows wow £9100 . 30 min later it was down to £4600 with discounts best they can do ok i said but not signing anything today . THEN bang he needs to call his boss .
we get a one time offer if you sign today another £500 off .Again i said im not signing anything today i will take your estimate and think it over . he calls his boss again on loud speaker his boss says "IF they want to lose money not save money thats up to them john explains they wont sign anything . John says to me if you sign you can change your mind in 7 days again i told him to leave an estimate and we will let you know . Then BANG "IF you dont SIGN TODAY its £6400 not £ 4100 .i told john we need time to chat it over not just sign . lol he says ill go for lunch and come back . LOOK how many times can you tell someone your not signing anything good price at £4100 but to say you will be £2300 more if you do not sign on the day poor attitude to trading standards i think beware . by the way you left no estimate John !



after 3 more salesman got my windows fitted for £2400 job was fine the man who fitted them is also self employed so asking for his price for the rest but looks great what i see so far the company does not know its Ar@@ from its elbow to many suits and desk warmers and the real deal is the installers who live in the real world as for your reps id sack them and just get the joiners to sell your windows they know more than you
And when a joiner has to collect windows from depot 40 miles away from where he was day before and travel back wise up people on planning

job done within 2 days we had the Aberdeen branch manager screaming down phone to get paid wanted bank details etc told him we will pay 28 days he was abusive to a point i wanted to punch him
we have now constant phone calls from them to send reps out

"Installation - Windows all Round"

Our windows were installed in September. From ordering there was an excellent turn around as we were on a tight schedule due to other works being carried out in the house. The installation went well, the windows are excellent. The team worked very well together and all the windows and french doors were fitted very well. There was no damage to any surrounding decor (and when I ordered them I was a little concerned as we had new tiles fitted in the kitchen and bathrooms) but there wasn't even a mark left as to where they had been. Very neat and tidy job and they cleaned up after themselves. Would well recommend.

Although your sales person was 'charming' I came to feel more and more that I'd been steamrollered into purchase and under pressure from after sales staff not always agreeing with what I'd been told previously. Even now I'm being bombarded by requests to complete a review!! So although the product is fine, and the experience of fitting was OK too I'm left feeling that I was not entirely in control.....Not entirely happy bunny

"Great doors altho messy workers"

The doors and insulation was great, guy where really quick on the day of insulation altho left a bit of mess with in the house and garden that I was a bit un pleased about as I had provided them with breakfast, tea and biscuits all morning.
I feel like keeping my property would have been a must to the company

Apart from the windows not staying open!!! and a bit of a messy start a good ... look fab, quality great, very helpful installation team!

"Nothing to get exicited about."

Sales team was ok, the usual expectation of going from a stupid high price to a more sensible, supply and fit cost. Why Do this?

Communication for start date was good at the beginning.
No communication with regards to the programme and process and precedjure of works.

Initial installation went well.
Then some window upstairs were measure incorrectly. Very happy with the contracts manager, getting the windows re-made, the was a good call and made the appearance of the Bay windows much better.

However, waiting for the new windows was not the problem, it was the lack of communication on when these were coming and when these were going to be installed. Had to call constantly to get updates. Scaffolding was left out side our house for nearly 2 months, and to chase to get this taken down. Contracts Manager wasn't aware it was still up.
Some tiles were damaged, and the guy doing the repair broke more than what was required to be taken out, ended getting them repaired myself.

Paid a premuim price, for below average after service.

I would recommend with caution.
