Bikes were slightly confusing to use at first but following the guidance on the bike and the Beryl app I got it working. Love this initiative and will definitely be using these bikes more. On both of my journeys so far I have been wrongly charged for incorrectly parking - I contacted the customer service team via the app’s “I need help” and they refunded the surcharge. Overall though very happy with service

Really overpriced, not enough explanation on how to unlock and lock the bikes. 25 min journey through town cost me 5 pound with a 1 quid unlocking fee and then I still had to get a bus home as the bike zone doesn't cover my house so in total it cost 7 quid for a journey that I could have done for 2. You really have to bring the price of the bikes down cause people just aren't going to use them as its a rip off. How is a 25 min ride for 5 quid economical?! You're trying to get people out of cars and this is not the way to do it. They tried to charge me a tenner for not locking the bike properly even though their videos don't show how to do it properly but managed to get it back after speaking to a customer service advisor. Took me 10 mins to unlock the thing as well and it basically involves ragging the bike as hard as you can out of the lock which stressed me out. I love the idea of communal bikes to rent but this just falls so flat.
