"Saturation des sons graves. Je suis équipée d'appareils starkey…"

Je suis équipée d'appareils starkey intra auriculaire rechargeables depuis septembre 2024. Je rencontre de très grosses difficultés avec tous les sons graves : bruits de moteur principalement, et je me rends compte que nous sommes entourés de ces types de bruit (voiture dans la rue, en voiture, clim et aération dans les boutiques, hotte de cuisine, micro ondes, cocotte minute et j' en passe ....) dans toutes ces situations, les appareils saturent comme si le son était presque coupé, et du coup, incapable d'entendre une moindre conversation ou autre bruit !! Inutile de préciser que je suis déjà passée une bonne 10aine de fois chez mon audioprothésiste pour voir du côté des réglages, rien ne change !!! Auparavant appareillée avec des aides auditives sigma, (au moins 5 paires) je n' ai jamais eu ce problème. Le but de mon témoignage est de savoir si je suis la seule à ressentir ça ? Mes appareils ont été retournés en usine, on m'en a retourné des soit disant neufs, et rien ne change !!! Est-ce que je dois remettre en cause les appareils et donc la marque devrait travailler sur sa technologie ou bien mon audioprothésiste qui ne maîtrise pas les réglages ? (la personne me dit que je suis là seule parmi ses clients à avoir ce problème). Je commence à désespérer, si des personnes sont dans cette situation, peuvent elles témoigner également ? Merci

"Ive been using Unitron aids for 5 years…"

Ive been using Unitron aids for 5 years now without any problem, meanwhile, technology has improved out of all recognition. My audiologist, who I trust !00% has suggested that I could benefit from investing in a new pair of Starkey aids. I collect them tomorrow. Having read most of these reviews, I am only interested in hearing aid performance, something most -ves seem to have ingnored. If I have anything to add in the future, I will amend as applicable - no added comment = no problems, just one satisfied customer.
Update: Audiologist is favorite with my son - TV volume now turned down to a reasonable level.

"Not satisfied with product and even less satisfied with brand response"

Introduce myself: using hearing aids now for about 14 years. My third set is from this brand:
Visit audiologist for a hearing test: previous set of hearing aids can't amplify enough anymore. Audiologist recommends Starkey.
The devices have 2 very strong plusses: the audio is far better than my previous brand (lots more trebble) and the rechargeable batteries run for 2 entire days.
Why then rate 1 star?
Because bluetooth is for me of the greatest essence related to work: very frequent (Teams) meetings and phone calls. In reality it has been a genuine pain:
- support on Android is very poor. Works in theory, however one cannot select what kind of audio is to be streamed to the hearing aids: it's a case of all or nothing.
- support on a Windows PC is non-existent: it will not work. Audiologist arranges for a "remote microphone": wire it via USB to the laptop and connect to hearing aids via bluetooth: sometimes it works, mostly not. I don't have time to fiddle around for work: I have given up on the remote mircophone connection, and am back into using proper headsets
- I skip the many and lengthy e-mail exchanges, meetings with the brand specialist that brought no solution: typically pointing to the manufacturer of the smartphone, to Android, to me as a user
- a couple of days ago there was a "firmware update". May I call this a firmware downgrade? Can't find information about what the update brings. Still does not work with Windows, and now the connection to the smartphone is highly intermittent: need to restart hearing aids couple of times a day, "forget bluetooth connection" to hearing aids and pair again ... All fine for a couple of hours
- oh yes, there's the "future": "Edge mode+" Artificial intelligence... Claimed to be the solution to all difficult hearing situations. Sorry guys: this results at best in a weird hearing experience with strongly distorted sound. So much so that I invariably immediately switch back. Correction: I do no longer use Edge Mode +
Summary? I don't think I'll ever buy hearing aids from this brand again.

"Incredibly thorough and professional…"

Incredibly thorough and professional hearing exam. The fitting process was exceptional as well. It's clear that my individual hearing and ear anatomy were taken into consideration when creating my hearing aids. I've had hearing aids for 30 years, but, as my hearing loss has advanced, I needed a higher level of expertise and individual design to get the best hearing I could. I'm so pleased with my current hearing aids from Starkey. Would recommend highly!

"Stay Away from this Product"

Stay away from this company. Went for a FREE hearing test. Hearing aids were ordered on November 20, 2024. After multiple phone calls the aids were never delivered. On December 27, 2024, I canceled order due to non delivery and no estimated delivery date. They charged my credit card on 11/20/24 and refuse to issue the credit. Stay away from these crooks. If they can’t deliver in a timely manner, just imagine if you need repairs!

"appareil auditifs nonfiable dans le temps…"

cela fait un an et demi que j'ai les appareil auditifs , et une impression d'obsolescence programé = impossible de connecter les appareil auditifs sur IPHONE x , (peut être une incompatibilité avec APPLE)
et de nouveau le confort que j'ai eu pendant 1 an 1/2 je ne l'ai plus , autant avoir des appareil de base beaucoup moins cher et cela sans soucios

"Excellence at Starkey"

I wholeheartedly have enjoyed my four visits to Starkey's headquarters for new hearing aids and checkups. It is sooo welcoming, and the staff is above Outstanding, professional and caring. Each visit was a great experience.

Starkey Edge AI 24. "10/10 recommend!"

After years of knowing I potentially had some hearing loss, I went to Starkey to get my hearing checked. After being fitted with Edge AI hearing aids I am amazed with the fullness of sound I am no longer missing. The features available in the app are easy to use and enhance my nights out with my friends and family. The audiologist was extremely professional and all the staff at Starkey were friendly, helpful and professional, always available to assist as needed.

"I can discribe my starskey with one word! Worthless"

Where do I start? First off I got my starkey from pueblo hearing and they wont help me and programed them wrong again. But In a nutshell no support from starskey because they blame everyone else and dont take responsibility to fix THEIR problems. Starkey made my molds wrong and will not fix them. I keep having wax problems plugging the filters because the filter hole was drilled to shallow.

The biggest problem is that they don't work well with mild hearing loss and will not let the users adjust their own setting to dial in a good hearing profile. Good news for mild hearing lost people is that apple is making the airpods 2 pros work way better than any starkey hearing aids and allow users to get an audiogram for programing them for under $300. Plus they let you adjust the hearing aids feature effortlessly!!!!!!! BYE Starkey and hello Apple!
