Absolutely worst banking service ,I have been following up to unblock my account visiting branches and call center every single day, everytime they say 3 days to solve , according to them no managers available to take calls , complaints team never respond even after one month followup

Absolutely terrible. I need a cheque book to pay rent at the end of the month and I have reached my limit. I called them to try and get this resolved and they said there's nothing they can do? I said I have rent to pay at the end of the month and all she did was apologise, said there's nothing they can do, and laugh??
They said I can apply again in 6 months? I said rent needs to be paid today. They said there's "nothing" they can do? It's a book with blank sheets of paper in. Terrible bank.

Credit card fraud
I've been a customer for many years. Last year there was fraud on my credit card. I complained to the bank, card was cancelled. They issued another card, this card to0 was used fraudulently immediately. I had not used the card or even registered it anywhere. Was used by the same entity. There was no OTP sent to me and the second time no SMS even. Mashreq are denying all responsibility and refusing to refund.The merchant where the card was used flagged it up as suspicious. But Mashreq did nothing.
Despite the above review the bank has still failed to do anything, They have not even called me.

"Mashreq cash back credit card"
i used Mashreq Cash Back credit cards for my utility bills for 4 months worth of 45k. i haven't received the cash back and when I called the bank they told me that I am using their mobile application for my utility bills that's why they are not giving me the cash back.
please be aware they Mashreq bank is not up to mark.

"Due to a technical error on their part"
Due to a technical error on their part, they refunded people twice. After a long time with this problem, they finally noticed the issue after more than 6 months and are now asking for the money back. Their customer service is very poor, and they are very rude and unprofessional. They are threatening people and scaring them by putting travel bans on them and promising to take further legal actions, even though their actions are illegal. They are putting travel bans on people for no real serious reason and without any case. If I call them and ask about this, they do not give any responses and only say that they need the money back. They are also not interested in talking and said that they credited my account 120 times incorrectly. How is this possible? They are very careless. They never informed customers about their technical issues, and direct mail and messages returned all the money and put travel bans on people.

I m really upset with this bank services.Nobody attends call if I want to complain.Online portal is also not giving response.I deposited 500 aed in my mashreq account after 5 days only 38aed left without showing any transaction message.Where to go and ask where is my money even if I didn't use???
I want to close my account because my money is not safe.

"I have been a mashreq bank customer…"
I have been a mashreq bank customer since 2 years I was using a mashreq bank platinum card everytime I call the customer care to get support it is not connecting the call the system says the card number is invalid. Now I want to cancel the account. This is the first time in my life I facing such issues with a bank in UAE usually the banks customer care provide wonderful customer support here. This bank make everything difficult even thr easiest thing. I won't recommend this bank to any of them who I know.

"Digitilisation has become a disgrace"
I have been loyal customer of Mashreq from last 42years in Dubai but in the last 7 to 8years their service levels have gone down from bad to worse. They have focussed more on digitilisation and lost the human touch and hence it is very difficult to get in touch with anyone who can resolve your issues. Very unprofessional staff with no job knowledge.
