"Very poor customer service."

Placed two orders a week apart totalling nearly £500. Both orders have been lost in transit. The second order took four days to dispatch which is contrary to the claims on their website about processing orders within a day. All items were in stock at the time of placing the order according to their website.
Their website also states that delivery is 6 - 8 working days. This target has not been met for either order and their customer service does not seem to care. Just got a generic email stating that I should order them again for the fatest possible delivery and that I'll get a refund once they have carried out an investigation into the lost parcels!!
I am going on holiday on Friday and despite ordering the goods with plenty of time, I won't receive them and this is going to severly effect my hoilday plans.

Very unhappy and annoyed about quality of serivce.

UPDATE:
Following Alpine Trek's comments below, I feel the need to correct their false statement.

The most recent order was placed on March 17th, meaning the end of 8 working days was March 26th (yesterday). At 6pm yesterday, the Evri website said it was stil waiting to receive the parcel from Alpine Trek.
I received an email from Evri today saying the parcel would be delivered. However they pulled their normal trick of not even trying to deliver the parcel, and instead claimed no one was in; a proposterous claim as I work and live in a school with a massive reception and a separate goods in area.

Alpine Trek customer services were their normal helpful selves and offered no help whatsoever apart from 'raising a query' with Evri. Alpine Trek said they would call or email me back very shortly with an update. This was at 1.30pm. It is now 4pm and after calling them back they have told me the operator dealing with my issue has gone home!!
Alpine Trek and Evri is a partnership made in hell and I will never be ordering from them again.

Great as always and appreciate the reassurance however the main problem with alpine trek is that no choice of courier is given and one is forced to use such an awful company as EVRI.... therefore i order musch less through alpine trek now
