"This is the worst company I have ever…"
This is the worst company I have ever come across. The staff are rude and incompetent. A job which was supposed to take twelve working days is just beginning after so many mistakes, my daughter’s baby is due next week and she has no kitchen. So far they have put in some electrics and taken down the ceiling. The plumber came and put up the new ceiling which now has to come down again as it was put up wrong and he’s gone through an electric cable. Can’t wait to see how the rest of it goes. Absolutely furious

The worst workmanship, and attendance I've ever seen weeks go by with nothing done and no one on site. After being 40 years in the building trade, I am appalled, cheap shoddy work from workmen you can't communicate with as on a visit to site not one spoke English

Lovely, sunny day, wait in for 5 hours! No show, no explanation, no call. My ceiling is falling in from a leak, who cares? Not Novus!
Time and time again this happens. If I could rate 0 stars, I would!

"MTVH DO NOT USE "Novus Contractors" for refurbishments in properties!!"
MTVH use Novus Contractors to refurbish my bathroom in December 2021.
Please note the standard of work was appalling from the commencement, as Novus Contractors did not complete the refurbishment work within their stipulated time frame.
Refurbishment material used is cheap, and this was evident as the extractor fan does not work properly-makes a horrendous noise/faulty.
The new toilet does not fit the floor properly and is leaking and causing damage to my neighbours flat below me. In addition to this, the paint is stripping from the walls, and this all occurred before the refurbishment was even fully completed.
I have allowed Novus Contractors back into my flat several times to rectify this, and they failed to resolve issues.
MTVH sent an unqualified project manager to my flat by the name of Hussein. He spoke with myself, and my partner in a condescending, pompous, and arrogant manner about the ongoing situation. In addition to this Hussain denied my toilet was leaking, and subsequently, my neighbour below me has complained to MTVH about water sipping from my bathroom into her flat.
Therefore, I had to raise a formal complaint with MTVH, which is currently at stage 2.
The housing trust have received countless complaints from tenants all around the UK about the poor standard of work from Novus Contractors. Tenants are being ignored, does Novus Contractors need to injure/kill a tenant with poor refurbishment work before MTVH listen to complaints and resolve matters.
I implore whoever is reading this not to employ Novus Property solutions to conduct any work on your property. "Novus Contractors" use cheap materials and employ European racist workmen that make comments in their native language like "Ni**a".
It is now 02/02/2022, and my bathroom has still not been completed, shame on MTVH & Novus property solutions you are a disgrace.

"A bit disorganised"
I had an interview booked with Novus property solutions on Monday the 8th of November 2021 at 12pm. I arrived slightly early. (After 12 miles and half hour drive to Smethwick).
When I arrived I was was escorted to the kitchen where I was offered a hot coffee and a short brief about the company.
The person I was supposed to meet there had gone out so had a short/abrupt phone call; which I had to make.
I went to the job on that Monday and Tuesday where another painter was working there from another agency.
Talk about disorganised and unprofessional! The job was a bit of a shambles which was my task to rectify. Then I was told there is no work after only 2 days of doing a good job. I was told they had plenty of work so you can understand my disappointment when this particular job ended so quickly.
Overall the blokes I met who worked for Novus seemed a good bunch just a bit scatty and disorganised.
I would recommend them but be prepared for a few mishaps along the way and I am sure those small hiccups within their company structure are now on the mend.

Don’t know about their work skills but one of their drivers flew out of their site in the works van right in front of my car, no concerns for others, does not fill me with confidence as a company I’d ever use if their employs can’t be considerate on the roads!

Worst company i've worked for. Terrible management, didn't suply materials on time, hard to get hours and timesheets aproved. They still need to pay me for last day i've worked for them. Managers are pure amators. They don't have a clue about painting.

Useless is a polite way to describe them!. Communication is deplorable for starters.
We were told our kitchen replacement would take 10 days...its now been 28 & the list of unfinished bits & pieces is as long as my arm. We are actually finishing jobs ourselves & doing a far better job too.
Of the 4 wall units fitted, we can only use one, because some idiot decided it would be a great idea to fit a double unit in place of a corner unit, with a missing door. It looks ridiculous & because they've promised to rectify it, we can't put anything in the adjoining units, until the corner ones been replaced.
I'm disabled & using my spare bedroom as a kitchen is beyond frustrating & impractical, not to say stressful.
So far, there's been 3 tradesmen leave the team with no notice & 2 have been sacked. The foreman ended up painting the walls, grouting unfinished tiling, fixing skirting boards & sealing the worktops himself (badly)
The gas fitter drilled through the pipe & the plumber left us with no water overnight, without telling us.
The team leader is aggressive & actually tried to accuse us of stealing a bit of plastic pipe...for what exactly??. Its almost laughable really.
Countless phonecalls have been unreturned. Promises have been broken. Jobs have been left unfinished.
Why the f*** Guinness chose to use this company is beyond me!

"Safety concerns"
Proper sh** it show of a company. Waiting over three weeks in between each re-arranged appointment for an "emergency" repair. Unbelievable Jeff. I have been manually resetting my boiler every day since January after smelling gas at night. It is housed in a children's bedroom. It cuts out every 10-20 minutes and requires 4 'pin in hole' resets before it starts working again. It's dangerous yet they have cancelled 11 appointments now, sometimes courteous enough to tell me there has been "an emergency callout", but mostly just not bothering at all to cancel. Just fail to turn up. I feel so helpless. They are subcontracted by my landlord to carry out their work so I have little choice. I don't want to get blown up.

Worst company ever..they never come to any appointment... they always say no one at home but they lie.
Today I was waiting for them at the window. The guy came stopped his van in front of my drive way then he drove off... didnt come out of his van.
I rang the office ..phone rang for almost 6 minutes then they picked up the phone, ive told the lady what was happen ..she said stay on the line for one second ..i waited for about 3 minutes then they hang up. I rang again waited an other 6 minutes then they picked up.. i said why did you hang up ? She said the system automatically hanged up 🤔.
Where on earth can land line hang up by its own??
Any way i had to explain again. She said sorry the job was cancelled due to no access to the property. And they need to set up new appointment.
I forget to say ive been chasing them to do this job since February 2019... Yes over 20 months for fixing the tap in the bathroom.
