I was insured with the ‘Insurance Emporium’ ( Dog Insurance), until I attempted to make a claim , my first insurance claim in 15 years . The company were only too happy to receive £100.00 per month premiums, but when my dog fell ill and needed veterinary treatment, the Insurance Emporium did everything possible to not pay the claim, they eventually persuaded the vet to change the diagnosis and so the claim was left unsettled, leaving me with a £1000.00 bill to cover, I would avoid this company! Beware !

Vets filled in claims form and was sent straight off, had an acknowledgment from pet emporium very quickly and a decision. Money was then paid into my account a few days later with no hassle

"Clothing claim on Horse policy "
Took out clothing insurance for an extra £15, and forgot about it, till my daughter had a fall & boots got ripped. Telephone claim seemed easy, then the form arrived. Initially sent me wrong form as making a clothing claim, so told me just to fill out certain sections, so I submitted. Then the correct form came & had to fill out that one. However, then received a call within 3 weeks, claim accepted. Money took longer than the 5 days to hit bank account but there was Easter BH. All in all not too stressful. Been able to get my daughter new riding boots and she’s happy. All in all took less than 1 month from start to finish. Staff were very helpful when I spoke to them, telephone lines easy to get through, no lengthy waits.

The claim process was a little held up but that was entirely down to a problem with the vet. Once the Insurance Emporium realised they were onto it straight away. They even questioned my mistake in under-claiming and rectified it. Excellent service

Unbelievable service, dealt directly with the vet, no issues. Having only had my cat since January 2024, I had no experience of claiming on insurance but the service was seamless - I didn’t have to do a thing! Well done
