"Highly recommend the Scottish Association of Landlords"

I recently joined the Scottish Association of Landlords because I'm the landlord for my own house, which I rent out. The legislation and landlord requirements are pretty complex and I had lots of questions that had caused a bit of hassle and stress.

The SAL helpline has been fantastic and they've been able to give me advice and information in a whole range of areas. I find this really quick and useful because it saves hours of looking online, and I know that the information they give me can be trusted.

I think that the annual fee is well worth the cost in the time, effort, and stress that this has saved.

SAL is a brilliant resource for landlords. I've turned to them for advice many times over the past 20 years. Their regular news letters keep me up to date; the annual letting day is excellent and it's good to know that someone is representing landlords in the political arena.

I have found the membership with SAL worth every penny. The staff is incredibly helpful, and any queries are solved within one day, either by telephone or email. I have also attended a few of the courses, which are offered on a regular basis, since becoming a member, and have found them very informative and well structured. In my opinion every landlord in Scotland should be a member of SAL!

The last SAL Conference - Scottish Lettings Day on Monday 12th November was a very informative and enriching conference. There were a variety of topics and the speakers had a finger on the pulse of current events within the Scottish property market.The exhibition stand was equally arrayed with very relevant contacts across tradesmen, home security, finance and many more. Membership is definitely a worthwhile investment as a landlord and property investor.
