Exceptional experience as a landlord. SAL have time and time again provided invaluable advice and guidance. Worth the membership fee many times over and everyone working at SAL is a real pleasure to deal with. Couldn't recommend highly enough.

I jointed SAL about 7 years ago and I must recommend them to any landlord. I expect most landlords have had problems with tenant’s in the last few years and also the amount of new legislation, well now you can lift the phone to them and get really good up to date guidance.
Also the cost of the yearly subscription is claimable against tax!

I joined the SAL for advice and guidance. I was having difficulty with a tenant regarding non payment of rent and I was getting very stressed. The advice line talked me through the steps I needed to take to start the eviction process. The process is not straight forward and care must be taken at each step. The SAL has templates that can be used and is a wealth of information. I had a really helpful lady Jill who was very kind during a very difficult time. The whole process took 10 months and Jill guided me through each step. There is no way I would have known what to do without the help from the SAL. I really can't thank them enough. I highly recommend to landlords to join.

Invaluable on line site with comprehensive resources, quarterly magazine, representation and lobbying for the sector, regular email updates in real time and highly experienced staff on the phone for any questions.
