Excellent Lettings Day event in Edinburgh on 12th November, 2019 for landlords and letting agents.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. If you are a professional property investor, landlord or lettings agent in Scotland, you are at a disadvantage if you are not a member of SAL and/or CLA. It's the best way to keep up with an ever-changing regulatory landscape and best practice. If you're not a member, your competitor almost definitely is!
Well done SAL on a great event and all your hard work and support all year round.

"Keeps me up to date with legislation and news about letting property in Scotland"

I have been a member of SAL from a few years now. I get up to date news and information relating to my lettings business and I use the advice line from time to time. The advice is always good and I know I can rely on them to keep me in line with all legislation.
If you are a landlord in Scotland you really should belong to SAL.

The topics and speakers were both varied and good. The venue was attractive and running up and down all the stairs kept you fit and gave you an appetite for the lovey lunch. The exhibitors were useful. The SAL staff and venue staff were helpful and able to provide most answers. The event seemed to run smoothly and I would certainly go again. A good opportunity to make contacts and expand your knowledge of the Private Rented Sector. Well done SAL

I enjoyed the new conference layout, choice of sessions and exhibitor stands. The venue is ideal for the event and on-site parking is great for those of us who have to travel. The lunch and break time refreshments were very good.

"UNIVERSAL CREDIT ROADSHOW BY SCOTTISH…"

I attended a Universal Credit Road Show at Hampden Glasgow, organised by The Scottish Association of Landlords. This proved to be a worthwhile trip, as my predicament of having lost almost two months rent, was resolved due to the DWP admitting their error when dealing with the legality and timescale, to authorise an existing lease agreement.

John Blackwood of SAL liaised between the DWP and myself to arrive at this favourable outcome, resulting in the arrears being paid to my account. This is just one example of how a SAL membership can be of great value to your business.
