‘Coffee and Chat with John Blackwood’ is a monthly free online meeting via Zoom for members of the Scottish Association of Landlords. It gives landlords (as well as agents) the opportunity to raise general issues of concern in an informal setting. I sign up for them regularly because there are always matters of interest and the advice given is always helpful.

Another 5-star rating from me for the latest "Coffee and Chat" session with SAL chief exec and the SAL members scattered throughout Scotland. As ever, the session generated interesting and informative discussion topics for all concerned. As a private landlord SAL’s support has been invaluable to my little business. The very reasonable membership fee gives instant access to a wealth of expertise through their website resources and personal phone line. Essential information, documentation, legal advice, training courses, guest webinars and the fore-mentioned monthly Zoom chats with SAL’s chief executive and SAL members - you name it, I use it. In an ever-changing legislative world SAL helps me to navigate the Private Rental Sector with confidence.
