I was planning to sell my flat but was unsure what the legal requirements were regarding notice to my tenants, so I contacted Scottish landlords Association for help and advice. I submitted my questions through the online form and was pleasantly surprised to be called back within the hour!
Their friendly advice and helpful suggestions proved invaluable, allowing me to successfully fulfil the legal requirements for giving notice to quit to the tenants.

The online coffee and chats that SAL do are really helpful, particularly as I am a new landlord. There is a lot of experience and good advice to tap into in these forums and having a guest speaker on a particular topic is also really good

I have been a member of SAL for some years now and find the combination of resources, updates, networking and access to training invaluable.
There is always a friendly voice at the end of the phone should I require advice and they have helped me out on numerous occasions with my various queries.
Even during recent times we have been able to remain connected moving face to face meetings and training online so there has been little disruption to normal service!
I highly recommend to all who are renting out property - whether one or many more - to join. The cost is well worth it for all that you are able to utilise.
