Highly suspicious activity. Free survey if myself AND my wife are present for roughly an hours visit. If my wife can't make it - £250. Never heard anything like it. What are they planning on trying to convince us of that my wife has to be present? When questioned the person on phone said "looks like you are not a suitable customer for us". Avoid this company!

I paid £240 for Peter to come round and do an assessment.
He was very professional and concise with the report and knew his stuff and the fact that he rang me before hand to go through some points was very reassuring.
However to be quoted £22000 +for all of the issues ( Admittedly they priced up for every little nook and cranny that could potentially need looking at ) But my house is only worth £50 k !!!
Then just to have a damp proof course done in a 3 bedroomed terrace was coming up at over £12k.
(I had already had a quote for the same job for £5 k off two other companies.)
I do feel slightly robbed and that the quote was so over priced and ridiculous that there was never any chance of me having any of the work undertaken and I therefore threw away £240 for a couple of hours work to the surveyor.
