Thompson Creek Window Company installed new windows for our entire house. They did a great job and the windows look fantastic! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to get new windows.

"Unhappy with our sliding glass door"
Unhappy with our sliding glass door. The door is poorly designed and is not really functional with our home. There are absolutely zero options to modify the door or to rectify the situation. And it took four months to even get anyone on the phone to have them come back out to look at it. Will not be purchasing with TC again. I feel as if I wasted my money. And, I am 99% sure that this review will go completely ignored.

"Picture Window great product and service"
Had Thompson Creek give me estimate for a large picture window that had been leaking. Sales rep came out and talked about the product and options and did not try to upsell. They were able to replace the window window 2-3 months sooner then other companies and they asked for less down then others. Window was installed yesterday and we are happy.

"STILL WAITING"
UPDATE: They actually showed up as scheduled, but did not have the material they needed for the rest of my window trim. Oh and they lost one of my windows and had to reorder it. Now my estimated install date for the 4 windows and ALL the window trim is now in March! What a joke! I have had a couple people try to help with this after my review, but no one can seem to place a priority on my project for some reason. That is a real shame.
We contracted this company, paid money down, scheduled the job. Our first date got pushed back two days before it was scheduled. When they did come, 3 windows were totally wrong, and the correct trim was not brought. We were told we would be priority and we are still waiting, 2 months later for our 3 windows and trim to be done. We were told our new install date was 1/13 and I just got a call that you don't have the material needed so it will be pushed back again... We have asked 4 times to be contacted by a supervisor with no response. The only positive thing is the installer that made us aware of the wrong windows and not having the correct trim. I am hoping with this review, someone will actually contact me before I have to take further action.

"Thompson Creek installed Gutters 5+…"
Thompson Creek installed Gutters 5+ years ago and I recently noticed the gutter were overflowing and pitch wasn't correct on a couple of gutters. They send someone out right away and ended up correcting the pitch and putting updated guards on all the gutters. I was and am so impressed. Thanks, TC, for standing behind your products.

"Thompson Creek; good product, lousy customer service"
We have had Thompson Creek windows and doors and have been happy with the quality of the product. However, our latest product installation from them (May 2020) needed warranty work ... I have never seen a company go so silent!
After 10 - 12 weeks of calling every other week and being repeatedly told that a manager or product contractor would call us back it has become almost laughable if it wasn't for the suspicion that they are going to claim that we are out of our warranty period ... after they have been the ones delaying.
While Thompson Creek may have good product, our purchase was made on the expectation of a quality product that the company stood behind. We see now that Thompson Creek does whatever it can to avoid its warranty promise. We won't be having any more of their product installed in the future.

"Unable to obtain warranty repairs"
I have been trying nearly three months now (since Sept. 8, 2021) to get a warranty repair on a large
window installed by Thompson Creek in May 2020. Five calls to corporate HQ over a ten week period have gone unreturned, despite having described the issue multiple times and having been assured that I would be contacted by a project manager or by corporate management.
The purchase, installation, and quality of the product is excellent, but the follow-through on honoring the product warranty has been disappointing at best. I have been a repeat customer for Thompson Creek for many years now, but my most recent purchase will be my last.
Unfortunately it looks as if I will need to turn to the assistance of the BBB and the MHIC to resolve the issue with my defective window as Thompson Creek has been completely unresponsive to my request.

5 months after installation they decided that the amount that they charged at installation was not sufficient and are now demanding more money.

"No one is home"
We had our whole house, windows and doors, replaced by Thompson Creek, about 8 years ago. We were completely satisfied with the quality and aesthetic of the product and installation. Now I want to replace the hardware on my doors and it's s like I don't exist. I have talked to a dozen people at the Lanham location over the past two months and I can't get a soul to do a contract for it. No callbacks, no management availability (This company apparently had meetings 24-7), no one who knows. Everyone always has to wait for"the person who knows" and will call me back. But they never do. Apparently they don't need any business. I'm trying to give you my money, TC!!!! Dumb. Covid is no excuse for not calling back your customers; customers who WERE satisfied no less! I can no longer recommend them at all.
