My experience Thompson Creek window was great.. they were in and
out with no problems.

"Siding problems"

I had a problem with two windows leaking I had the windows replaced in March 2021. The siding was the problem not the windows so I decided to replace the siding and two more windows. The work went well but, as soon as the next rain, we had leaking from one of the window that wasn’t leaking. The company schedule an appointment to correct the problem but, it didn’t solve the leaking. They schedule another appointment and it hasn’t corrected the leaking. They took two days to take the old siding off and replace with the new siding. How can 30 minutes appointments to solve the leaking. I hope the company will solve this problem soon. Thanks Larry

"The gutters were replaced but the exterior door were not."

My order was to replace the gutters and the exterior French doors on my home. The gutters were replace but the exterior doors were not.

"It took to long."

It took them 7 months to replace 6 windows and 3 patio doors. In the process the finish on my hardwood floor was damaged. However, to their credit, they made restitution for the damage and the project managers were pleasant to work with.

"Not worth the money and service is terrible"

We paid 15K for windows and a door. I asked the workers to leave the original door so I could use it for my garage. It was a 5000.00 door and I didn’t want it thrown away. I called the company the next day when I realized they took the door. The girl I spoke to said she would see if she could find out where the door was and call me back. Well… is been 2 weeks with no call. The windows are ok but not worth the money I paid. They have trouble locking and I have to keep pushing up on the top window because it falls down just enough to where it won’t lock. I would not recommend this company at all.

"I love the windows; scheduling, not so much"

I love the windows! I loved my install crew! I have two small complaints: One, the sales person told me one benefit of Thompson Creek was the shorter wait time since they make their products locally. Once I signed, the install date I was given was about 9 weeks out, not the 5 or 6 weeks suggested. When the install day finally came, the crew arrived early and were very neat, respectful and pleasant. They tried mightily but couldn't finish the job in one day due to some unexpected difficulties removing the old windows. My complaint is that the crew chief could not tell me when they would come back to finish, and no one from the office called me to arrange it. I had to call (more than once) to schedule a date for completion, which came about a week later. It was inconvenient and mildly annoying. It seems to me the office and the crew should have been in communication when it was clear the job wouldn't be completed on time, and someone should have reached out to me, not the other way around!
