"What a superstar"

I thought I had lost my receipt for my laundry top up card. Fortunately Claire found it for me & was able to give me my refund. What a superstar. An asset to any company

"Why does this exist"

Machines break often. Refunds are slow and painful, with long holds on the phone. Chat function in app doesn’t seem to work. Not sure why we’d need laundry on an app anyways. Drives up costs with zero benefit.

"Breach of statutory rights"

Without notice, Circuit changed the machines in our building, requiring a new app in order to access remaining balance and use machines. I am unable to access this app. They refuse to transfer me my remaining balance back unless I pay a two pound “admin fee”. I am furious- this was a unilateral change to the terms of service and is in flagrant violation of my consumer rights. I am now proceeding with a legal complaint- this company has the monopoly over student accommodations among other and operates in a highly unethical manner. The machines are now five pounds for a cycle which does not clean properly and does not last the full duration advertised (time them yourselves!). I urge all others in this situation to enforce their contractual and statutory rights by reporting them too

I paid for a machine and after the payment it decides to say out of order as if it’s not already a rip off charging 4.70 for the extra wash and rinse it’s still a bad wash even then. To make it worse the staff are useless as I called them to refund and gave them the address of where I live and the site number and they still couldn’t find it. Pathetic

"Max in customer service"

Please note this review is of max in customer support rather than the app/ service in general. Had my account terminated for no reason and he helped me get it fixed in a couple of minutes and helped with a further problem. Really polite 5/5. The actual app is useless, it’ll tell you your wash is ready and it’ll have 20 minutes left. Sometimes it won’t start or just be a nuisance otherwise. Max though was brilliant.

"Never works"

Never works, ever. There is always some glitch or problem in their software and it's always after they take your money.

"Changed from circuit plus and rubbish"

Changed from circuit plus, now can't track status, can't see availability, 30 mins to change from old app and get money back, said charge £2 if wanted paid to me.and not the new app!!! Was there undertaking not my. Fgs.. just a VERY underwhelming and average app. Also have to be IN the room to use some functions!!!

Used a dryer, it did not dry my clothes at all. I used the chat service, explained the problem and the bloke on chat just left.

I had enough time this morning to try again, only to be told I’m out of the timeframe for a refund despite initially informing this company of the problem.


Also the prices are just a rip off.

More than once I've had issues with Circuit Laundry (first the app, then the top-up machines) and Isabelle was kind enough to offer alternatives and dispatch an engineer in the quickest time possible. My only regret is not reaching out sooner the second time, had I known how well I'd be taken care of. Isabelle, you're a gem ✨
