"one of the worst companies for terminals"
If i could give 0 Stars i would lol. One of the worst companies you could ever sign with. It took 2hrs on the phone a DAY for the past 2 WEEKs to get a credit that i was entitled to. I had to argue with them and go to a manager/supervisor because half of the people at the company were accepting my credit and the other half were giving me a hard time and was trying to make Divvia take the bullet and get them to credit me when Elavon had my credit money in their pockets. Disappointed.

"Dodged a bullet - stay away"
Seeing the other views here, Elavon dropping our application is clearly a bullet dodged.
Elavon asked for a headed letter stating we would not ship our products to the US. Upon providing this, we received a contemptious salty reply that they were dropping our application because they were able to add a product to cart and checkout with US shipping address. There was never an indication that we needed to close US shipping before any agreement was in place.
I feel genuinely grateful to have swerved what seems to be an incredibly shady business.

I’ve been charged ridiculous amounts of fees for two machines that are not in my possession and the Customer Service is not good at getting back to me. I returned the machines to them and which I am still getting charged regularly through my bank. I have to contact my bank on Monday to put a stop to it because of the lack of Customer Service that I’m receiving from the company. Today I noticed there was another $299 in fees. Waiting for the matter to get resolved.

"Merchants Beware"
Merchants Beware. Our merchant services experience with Elavon has been nothing short of harrowing. Their vague credit card verification process ultimately resulted in a $26.4K chargeback. Their cooperation in resolving the issue was non existent; no explanation for the chargeback was provided despite documentation evidencing that we had taken every possible precaution to verify the authenticity of the on-line credit card transaction, leaving the impression that it is easier for Elavon to do a chargeback than, at the very least, have the credit card issuing bank call their customer to verify the credit card transaction. In our opinion Elavon is not the innovative, secure, and global partner for your payment processing needs, whether you do business online, mobile, or in-person, that they state in their advertising.

"Elavon charges DOUBLE for upgrading equipment"
We have been with this company for 8 years. Wanted to upgrade old equipment we had been renting. Rep says there would be no other fees. BEWARE they will charge you DOUBLE for equipment rental when you upgrade! They will not prorate your new equipment and will continue to charge you the entire month for old equipment they acknowledge was returned part way into the month.
