Absolutely rip off đ˘ and wanted to steal my money of ÂŁ600. Contacted with them so many times for my refund of ÂŁ600, but they didn't solve my problem at all. Luckily PayPal fought for Me and got my refund back. Very bad customer service đ and Highly disappointed đ.

"Etihad long haul Ryan Air"
It is a number of years since Iâve flown with Etihad and wow! it has changed.
Itâs gone from a premium carrier to no more than a budget money grabbing long haul Ryan air asking you to pay for things like pre booked seats that were always free.
Many of the aircraft are âtiredâ with temperamental equipment such as lcd touch screens that donât work.
In economy the seats are cramped with enough legroom only for children under the age of 10. If the person in front reclines their seat you have no alternative than to recline yours as they are in your face.
Canât complain about the staff onboard as they do the best they can with whatâs provided.
Out of 4 pieces of checked in luggage 2 had minor damage and 1 damaged beyond repair which is just negligence.
Reported damage to customer (non) service who batted it off with âacceptable minor damageâ. Yes maybe to 1 item itâs acceptable but not 3 out of 4.
You only got 2 stars as the staff onboard were pleasant otherwise -1

"Thieves"
Thieves! Dishonest and misleading on purpose. Ethiad Stole $3600 USD/ $5000 AUD. They actively cancelled my flights in 2023 and refunded the flight credit balance into expired travel bank without my permission. They then said because the travel bank was expired I could not use the credit. After Many Complaints and calls unanswered for months. Ethiad has been dishones,manipulative and misleading.

"Assistenza etihad inefficiente"
Sono 12 giorni che chiedo aiuto perchĂŠ il sito non funziona e devo terminare la mia richiesta di rimborso per il bagaglio che mi è stato danneggiato in viaggio. Ogni giorno contatto lâassistenza e vengo presa in giro invece di ricevere un aiuto concreto per risolvere il problema. Sono veramente delusa e amareggiata.

"I have had the worst experience with etihad. Do not book with them"
I have had the worst experience imaginable with etihad, shockingly worse than budget airlines such as Ryanair. I am trying to book flights on thier website and it would not go through after trying multiple cards. I contacted the airline chat as this is the only option available. After three different occasions I received no reason or help to book these. I then got my brother in law to try as he lives elsewhere and is part of a different bank. The flights then went through and I seen them on my account for 5 minutes then they disappeared, I received no confirmation email and the payment is still pending 7 days later. Again, I contacted ethihad and received no help only that they have no booking for me. The have told me I should receive a refund after 7-15 days which I do not see happening with my experience so far. I asked what happens if I do not revive the refund they told me theyâd advise but cannot simply refund me, the bank can only help as the merchant has to cancel the pending transaction. The issue is I am traveling in less than two months and now I have no flights and cannot risk rebooking incase the original booking somehow comes through. I have never booked with etihad as usually I book emirates and will return to booking emirates in the future. Please do not risk booking with etihad.

"Avoid at all costs"
Unbelievable shocking service and I wished I had just paid the extra to go with a proper airline. I have tried for weeks now to book a return flight from Heathrow to Osaka with the Unaccompanied Minor Service; 3 weeks, 17 calls and now less than 20 days before my child is supposed to fly half way around the world, I have flights on the wrong dates and no confirmed unaccompanied minor service. I keep being promised call backs which never come, being told supervisors are looking into it and I should "not worry" (which in itself I find highly inappropriate when, a company who can't even book a simple flight or follow through on a single thing they tell you, I am supposed to trust fly my only child half way across the world, with a stop over). I have just spent over 2 hours on the phone with yet another supervisor, who has repeatedly called me an idiot, told me the issues are my fault and then hung up on me!! I am beyond frustrated. They're customer agents blatantly lie over the phone to you, they manage to conveniently "loose" the recorded calls, there is apparently no way to raise a complaint prior to your trip and I am going to end up paying 4 times for one return flight because of their mistakes. I am accepting the financial costs as a lesson learnt and my child will be flying with a more competent airline.

as my personal experience, they are cancel my return flight without any information and it is very unprofessional when I call them please send email to me or third-party so I can refund my cancellation fees but they did not send email and third-party. Send email for refund, they still did not reply to them. Also, I think if you not improve your customer service, so people are avoiding your airlines and I am writing as per my own experience.

"Esperienza super negativa!!"
Esperienza negativissima, compagnia non seria e non affidabile, mi hanno riconosciuto il rimborso di un volo ma questo rimborso non è mai arrivato sul mio c/c, dopo tantissime telefonate e solleciti ad oggi non ho ricevuto nemmeno 1 euro; in cambio solo prese in giro. L'unica soluzione è quella di rivolgermi al mio legale.

"My worst flying experience"
I contacted their customer care to resolve an urgent matter and they finally responded to me '01 month' after my flight landed and failed to provide me a solution ! Don't be fooled by their ads featuring glamorous celebs - this is an overhyped airline with terrible service , no compassion and care for the passengers . AVOID !

"Extremely Disappointed by this company"
I usually refrain from sharing negative experiences publicly, but the ordeal my brother and I endured with Etihad Airways has compelled me to share our story in hopes that future travelers might avoid similar frustrations. I will try to summarize what happened being as neutral as I can.
I had booked a flight for me and my brother with Etihad Airways, intending to travel from Geneva to Tokyo. This was my gift for his bachelor's degree. Unfortunately, our original booking was rescheduled, prompting us to change our flight to align with our initial plans, considering our pre-booked hotels and strict itinerary.
Our woes began when, after contacting Etihadâs live chat service to change our flights, the representative only modified my ticket and canceled my brother's, despite both being under the same booking reference. This error was discovered only on the day of travel, causing immense distress and inconvenience.
Our attempts to resolve this with Etihad's customer service on the morning of the incident at 5 a.m. were futile. We were met with long hold times, miscommunication, and ultimately, no immediate solution, forcing me to travel alone and my brother to remain stranded in an unfamiliar city.
To further complicate matters, we were strongly advised by customer service and, - since we didn't have any other option - forced to purchase an additional last-minute ticket for my brother due to the unavailability of his original reservation, incurring unnecessary expenses.
Five months have now passed since this incident, and despite our numerous attempts to seek a fair resolution and reimbursement for the additional expenses incurred, we continue to face delays. Our case is alleged âstill under investigationâ, with no definitive conclusion.
Our experience with Etihad Airways has been marked by a lack of accountability, inadequate customer service, and a disregard for the inconvenience and distress caused to passengers. Prospective travelers should be wary and consider our ordeal before choosing to fly with Etihad, particularly when alternatives are available.
We had hoped for a swift and fair resolution from an airline of Etihadâs repute but have been left disillusioned and frustrated by the ongoing lack of response and resolution.
I am extremely disappointed.
