"Der Service war sehr unfreundlich"

Diese Airline ist an Frechheit nicht zu beschreiben. Die Maschinen sind völlig desolat und in einem schlechten Zustand was die Einrichtung angeht. Toiletten defekt obwohl denn die Holzklasse war komplett besetzt. Wie das geht frage ich mich gestern 17.09.2023 noch...EY8 nach Abu Dhabi . Der Service war eine Katastrophe. Das Essen war kalt , Der Service war sehr sehr unfreundlich Diese Airline soll mal die beste gewesen sein ? Wann ?? Etihad ist eine Airline die ich nie wieder buche und freue mich auf 🫶🫶🫶🫶Air India -oder vistara 🫶🫶🫶🫶die wirklich einen guten Service von A-Z bieten und preislich ebenso gut da stehen.
Sehr sehr schlecht Service 🙃

"Etihad just ignore you"

They have fobbed me off so many times, I have made at least 40 phone calls promising to refund my holiday money they owe from 2 years ago. No one ever returns my calls and I have an email to acknowledge they owe me the money and I would receive it within 21 days it never arrived. 3 weeks ago they said they had closed the case I have asked them to reopen it. £1,100 is a lot of money. Can’t actually believe a company of this size could be so bad my next step will have to be court action.

"Lockangebot und Enttäuschung"

Ich habe gestern ein Flug über Etihad gebucht und fand das Angebot sehr spannend 2 Nächten kostenfrei in Abu Dhabi zu übernachten. Demnach hab ich ein Stopover von 4 Tagen (3ÜN) gebucht. Etihad war bei Bewerbung des Angebots bereits mein Zeitraum bekannt. Telefonisch habe ich die Auskunft erhalten, dass dieses Angebot nächstes Jahr grundsätzlich nicht mehr gilt. Meiner Auffassung nach ist das ein illegales Lockangebot. Den Flug konnte ich jetzt, da ich mich binnen 24 Stunden gemeldet habe, kostenfrei stornieren. Was ich auch getan habe. Das Geld soll in unglaublichen 7 - 45 Werktagen erst wieder gut geschrieben werden.

"Terrible customer support"

I had a problem with some data to change on the plane ticket. I sent many emails to customer service and they never responded. I chatted with them on the site but they didn't resolve anything. They don't care about anything and it will be my last trip with them. Terrible airline to avoid absolutely.

Terrible company ever they changed my stop over from a 1 hour stop over to a 10 hour stop over and did not offer me and my family any accommodation would never use these guys again

"Absolute Abzocke!!!"

Absolute Abzocke!!!
Wir mussten über eine Stunde im Flugzeug auf den Abflug warten. Keine Info vom Flugpersonal warum und keine Versorgung mit Getränken. Außerdem hatten wir Priorität Check in dazugebucht. In Deutschland funktionierte das prima. In Abu Dhabi wurde das aber ignoriert zu allem Übel mussten wir beim Check in in Abu Dhabi 1700 Dieham (420 €) für Übergewicht bezahlen, obwohl wir weniger Gepäck hatten wie beim Hinflug Ausrede war dass man beim Rückflug nur 23 statt 30 kg mitnehmen darf. Kann uns bitte mal jemand erklären wie dad gehen soll!!!!!!!!!!
Ach ja und das so auf der Internetseite angepriesen Diabetikeressen erwies sich als totale Kohlenhydratfalle! Wir fliegen NIE wieder mit dieser Aieline!

"Baggage damage denying all responsibility"

The worst service and horrific baggage handling practices!
This was a round trip. It started well on the way to our holiday with a relatively good service.
It all changed on the flight home to Melbourne. Our flight was delayed. We were forced to wait at an enclosed gate location without water nearby, after they forced us to throw out our water over 100 mL. By the time we boarded, we were dehydrated with a headache. The aircraft staff was busy and dismissive. Shortly after locating my seat, I discovered that it was wet smelling like urine. It took my fellow passenger going directly to one of the staff for them to actually address my wet seat and replace it. The troubles didn't stop there, as the crew seemed to neglect air conditioning and we flew for 13 hours in an approximately 30-35 degree Celsius cabin. The food was questionable and caused severe stomach issues that I am still recovering from 5 days later. The cabin crew was mainly dismissive during the flight and I simply needed to go in person to the galley to get some water.
The worst part was receiving my newly purchased suitcase (Samsonite) damaged. One of the wheels was shaved and non-functioning and there were scratches and scuffs all over it. I also noticed a deep dent in one corner. I approached the Etihad arrivals desk for help and was assured that they will cover the costs of repair or replacement. Pictures of the damages were taken and a damage report was issued. I went to repair my suitcase, and lodged a claim to get reimbursed. The baggage damage team till this day refuses to take any responsibility for the damages their airline personnel caused to my new suitcase, deeming the damages as "minor". Any request to clarify how a $110 repair is considered minor was met with "the case is closed, we are sorry you are not happy with this outcome". This is the airline I will definitely avoid at all cost!

"Paid extra for wifi which didn't work"

I bought wifi while on an Etihad flight and it didn't work. I got in touch with customer service about this and they said that there were no issues with the wifi on that flight, so tough. I even tried again using a different payment method and the wifi didn't work then either. It's a scam and they don't do anything to resolve it!

"The ultimate passenger name field"

They have updated their booking system and new system is plain stupid. It has limitations in name field which takes ages to sort out.
I called Etihad customer care and the agent was even more stupid. He was asking to remove everything from name except first 2-3 characters. According to him name for all passengers included should not increase 56 character limit. So anyone going to book Etihad flight start counting characters in your and and your co-traveller's name. Good luck
