"Wish I could leave zero stars"

Wish I could leave zero stars , they charge you on the app and pend the same amount on your bank for 7 days , they claim it’s a system issue and then laugh like it’s ok , this has happened twice , they also charged my girlfriend for a fare when they didn’t pick her up and toon a month for a refund

"Once maybe ,twice no ,third ....there won't be a third booking"

Used this company for years no problem ,suddenly 2 bookings in 3 days both with problems. First booking 16/12 ,message your driver has arrived ,We're stood outside pick up point ,must be new sleath taxi as can't see him ,no he's at the wrong address ,5 minute wait for him to get to right address. Second booking today 18/12 taxi booked for 4.30 am ,4.30 am no sign of taxi no message to say on way .Call blueline speak to asian gentleman ,no empathy ,no apology ,mutters some thing I don't understand .Says he'll get taxi there asap be 10-15 minutes .When taxi did arrive had no idea where we going (as in hadn't been told) .And to top it all off when I've had changed to look at email receipt they've charged me waiting time ,what waiting time I waited for them .Sorry blueline won't be booking with you again unless desperate

"Lottery taxis - No show"

Booked a taxi using the app more than 24hrs in advance. Booking confirmed Friday evening 10:45 pm. Freezing cold -1 degrees. Taxi didn’t show up. Totally stranded which caused a real problem. Shocking. App deleted. It’s a lottery if this lot show up. Cannot be relied on. Avoid.

"Lowest of the low"

Horrible company. Had horrible experiences, the worst one being locked in the car by a menacing driver who refused to acknowledge my fare was prepaid even after I showed him my bank! Then they also cancel trips no notice and turn up 35 minutes late to trips prebooked hours ahead or the day before! Whenever you call to ask to settle a situation, you end up speaking with the most rude women ever on the phone. I have had drivers speed and drive recklessly and on personal calls, blaring music in a ride while I cried on my way to hospital when my brother was in an accident… Honestly, I don’t exagerate this is one of the worst company for anything. Awful all across the board.

"Appalling service"

Appalling service. Steer clear. I Booked 2 taxis 24 hours in advance, 1st taxi was booked for pick up at 18:15, when it didn’t arrive I chased it up at 18:30 & was assured it would arrive in 10 minutes, at 18:40 I rang again and was told it would be 12 minutes. 5 minutes later they called me and told me it could be another 45 minutes as they were busy but would TRY to allocate me a car within the hour!! At this point I had to frantically ring around to make alternative arrangements.
My second taxi was booked for 22:30, I asked Blueline to confirm if this would arrive on time, I was assured it would. Based on the 18:15 debacle I rang Blueline at 22:00 to make sure I would not be left stranded explaining I was a lone female and would be left in a vulnerable position if it didn’t show and again was guaranteed my taxi would arrive at the pre booked time of 22:30. Despite these assurances the taxi did not arrive until 23:45!!! An absolute disgrace, Blueline have zero concern for the safety of their customers, they display no duty of care and treat customers with utter contempt, taking bookings they clearly have no capacity to honour and blatantly lying about when taxis will arrive. I would recommend avoiding this company at all costs if you ever want to reach your destination.

"Terrible!"

Booked a taxi almost a week in advance for a trip to and from work christmas party. As its a saturday night in december I expected the service to be busy, hence booking in advance. Taxi never showed up, when I called Blueline the automated service said they were trying to find a driver and there was no estimated arrival time. Half an hour later and still no taxi, and no answer when I tried to call and speak to a human.
Return journey taxi also did not arrive, unsurprisingly.

"Absolutely disgusting!"

Absolutely disgusting!! Booked taxis for tonight on WEDNESDAY. Supposed to come at half 6. Rang to say running late then they CANCELLED at 7.10pm! We had meal booked for half 7 which we were late for. Utterly disgusting and absolute joke!!!!

"Atrocious"

Atrocious, booked a taxi at 18:05 for 23:15
Rang them at 21:30 to make sure they were coming, had to give both pick up and drop off points again , told yes coming at 23:15
Didn't turn up, couldn't give a time to turn up! Still waiting at 00:00, Had to hijack a different taxi that brought us home,rang many times, when dropped of by other taxi and rang to cancel they were still looking for a driver to pick us up

"Let down today after booking a taxi…"

Let down today after booking a taxi hours before and the time it was supposed to arrive they couldn’t allocate a driver. I have been using Blueline Newcastle for years but no more. They wouldn’t answer the phone when I tried to find out what’s happening. Never again will I use them.

"Hopeless cowboy taxi firm"

Booked a taxi to Newcastle Station 30 mins late. No driver allocated, made the train with a minute to spare but stressed to hell. Also had 4 pre booked taxis to take my son to and from work, first one didn’t turn up, no driver allocated then 90 mins later get a call from blue line to say that they don’t operate in our area before 9am and after 5pm didn’t stop them from making the bookings and taking the money. Cowboy firm that should be avoided at all cost.
