Taxi number 957 driver 30 mins late and as soon as i get in the kid has a loud as fart the scruff lindsey if u see this sack this fool

I take blue line three or four times a week, and have always had polite and courteous drivers. They never have a problem helping me with my cart, and always make sure I get in my building safely.

So book a taxi with this company 4/5/2024 pick up rainton meadows arena 11 pm no show rang and was told driver on his way 10 minutes away 20 minutes later no show rang again driver 10 minutes away again no show . Get a call from a driver can’t really speak English and doesn’t know where rainton meadows arena is think he said he was in Chester le street . 40 minutes of waiting nothing had to walk home 5 miles worst taxi firm in the world . Avoid these clowns 🤡 hope they read there reviews

"Shocking"

Booked taxi via app. Driver went to wrong place. Called me, in broken English advising where he was. Told him where I was ( a large and popular hotel) even provided landmark info. Told to cancel as he hadn't a clue. Cheeky f%^ker still charged me. Never use Blueline again.
Emailed them and no response after 2 weeks.

"Scammers. Avoid. Do not pre book."

Not surprised to see such a terrible review rating for this very poor firm.
If you are looking to book a taxi in advance and expecting a driver to be allocated to that booking then think again.
Your booking will pop up at the time you need it and someone will try to find a driver for you. They will then ring an apologize to say that they've got no drivers available leaving you in the lurch.

I ordered a taxi from West monkseaton to seaton sluice and thr driver didn't know where he going, I had to direct him all the way, absolutely ridiculous, taxi drivers should know where they are going

"Terrible"

Terrible! We used it quite a few times on our trip there recently. Out of 5 only one honest taxi driver, he didn't charge for waiting time because we are always there waiting first. From Tynemouth to Gateshead Hilton, he charged £15.40 which is decent so we gave him good tip for being honest! Think we gave £10.00 tip. The rest charge £25-£38.00......we were there visiting friends and I know my way round because I stayed there for 3 years before.

The rest of taxi drivers were useless! Waiting time they charge even when we were always waiting before them! Another taxi driver, ordered a taxi to come to Little Cosmo, we were waiting for 30 mins with tired kids and he did call 20 mins before to say he will be there in 2 mins, what happened, he didn't even cancel the booking and just didn't show up. So had to call the operator and all she could do was apologies. So scrapped it and booked an uber instead!

The last taxi from Gateshead Hilton to Airport, the taxi driver charge £30.70 but he said to give £30.00 it's ok, he would close the phone meter charge, when we got there, saw the original price £11.40 and he quickly click on something and kept clicking and went to £22.30 plus charge £4.00 for drop off (understandable) but another £4.00 for car parking and £0.40 for waiting time. See the receipt attached. So we gave him £30.00 without tipping!!! Did not bother to argue, just wanted to get on the plane and go home......Usually we are generous with tipping from £5-£10 if they are reasonable!

Never again! Definitely will hire a car this time which is cheaper than taxi, blueline used to be so good in my uni days but now they are money grabbers

"45 minutes late!! "

Ordered a taxi at 10pm. I could understand if it was 5-10 minutes late.. but 45 minutes late.. shocking service won’t be using again

"Horrendous driver attitude "

On our journey to work we were met with a driver who failed to pull over to let us travel through the road.
There were parked cars on his side of the road along with several gaps which he could have pulled into, but he didn't, he put his foot down at great speed stopping my vehicle in the process.
He then sat and shrugged his shoulders and refused to move, his bumper almost touching ours, he then wound down his window and started verbal abuse, asking my wife who was driving "what are you going to do about it" when she questioned what he was doing
I then took his number he then stated "what are you going to do with that then"
He was using a threatening tone and also swearing , his window was down and there were young children being walked to the school with their parents.
My wife then had to reverse back along a road avoiding the cars parked on his side and then round a bend into a back lane as he was refusing to move, there are lots of families who use the back lane to walk to school so it was quite a dangerous manoeuvre .
He was in the wrong, the parked vehicles were on his side of the road not ours, he saw us approaching and sped his vehicle on purpose leaving my wife no where to turn into.
Absolute disrespect to anyone around him and thought he owned the road
