Booked taxi online to take my daughter and I to her Christmas party sat night and booked a return taxi. Had confirmation email with reference number for both journeys. First taxi never turned up and when I rang to see where it was I was told they were looking for a driver and could not confirm how long it would be. Cancelled and waited for Uber. Rang them twice through out the night to confirm taxi home and informed them I was with a child so could not hang around. They assured me both times it was fine. You can imagine my upset when again no taxi shows up as they didn't have a driver in the area. Why accept these bookings and confirm taxis are coming when they blatantly are not. I would not use again and am informing everyone how unreliable they are. Very disappointed

I booked a taxi for 8 or two cabs 5 days prior to requirement. 1 cab arrived leaving people waiting for 2nd taxi did not arrive!!!!!! Dreadful service. Our taxi said he would go back and pick up our other guests. DID NOT GO BACK. Bad bad service spoils a night out.

I booked to and from a local wedding venue for a 7 seater or 2 cars. 5.45pm then midnight return. Spoke on phone a few days earlier to confirm, bus or 2 cars. Received call 15 mins before due to go. No cars in area! I'd prebooked,thats the point. Totally changed our Xmas party evening as someone drove and drove home sober 2 trips!
Disgraceful! Do not use. They've done this to friends in Consett before apparently. They do not serve the NE. We're 12 miles west of Newcadtle just off A69!

Will never use this company again. Booked a taxi and a return journey three days in advance. No confirmation email received, that should have been my first clue. At the due time of 18.30 I rang to make sure they were on their way, operator said it would be 10 minutes. At 18.50 twenty minutes past the due time got a text saying taxi dispatched. Then went and stood outside waiting. At 18.57 received text saying driver was there (oh no he wasn’t). Rang switchboard and got put through to driver whose phone was turned off. Rang switchboard again at 19.00 and was told driver had cancelled the booking as we weren’t there but they would send another taxi and it would be about 10 minutes. Rang again at 19.06 and was told 10 minutes. Rang again at 19.25 and was told no trace of previous calls but on was dispatched and would be 10 minutes. At 19.28 an hour late the taxi finally turned up. We had dinner reservations at 19.00 so that was missed and had to go straight in to the theatre. Taxi booked for return journey at 23.05. At 23.05 rang as it was another no show. Was told that it hadn’t been dispatched but would be 10 minutes. Rang again at 23.20 told no driver allocated yet and couldn’t guarantee would be there in 10 minutes. Finally turned up at 23.35 half an hour late. Evening was completely ruined. Told traffic in Newcastle was to blame for delay of return journey, meantime stood watching traffic whizzing across Tyne and Swing Bridges.

I booked a taxi with Blueline because they were a reputable company. I booked for an 11pm pick up. I don’t like to be left alone yet I found myself in that situation. I pre booked a taxi to be safe. I was left alone for 35 minutes by myself and scared. I was being approached by men and I was frightened. Blueline let me down badly. They took my booking then did not turn up despite my 4 phone calls. I will never use them again

"Went to Utilita Arena for a concert on…"
Went to Utilita Arena for a concert on 2nd December and ordered Blueline taxis to go there and to bring us back. Taxi to take us there was 10 minutes late so that wasn't too bad. We had ordered return taxi for 10.35pm after concert had finished. We arrived at designated point for taxi pick up but taxi wasn't there. An hour later we received a call from driver saying that he was in a totally different spot for our pickup. It was absolutely freezing but we got into the taxi and we were just grateful for the warm. As soon as I got into taxi the driver was irate saying he arrived a while ago but obviously we weren't there so I just told him straight. If he had gave us a phone call as soon as he arrived we would have gladly went to him and been home earlier than 12 midnight. I didn't give him a leg to stand on as it was his fault totally and they over charged us on both journeys. Blueline need to have a lot more customer service and hire a lot more English drivers as our 2 drivers we're both foreign. I wasn't prepared for the insults I received when getting in the second taxi but I don't let anyone talk to me the way he talked to me, his name was Isaac. Blueline taxis are the worst taxi service I have ever used and I won't be using them again. They need to read the complaints that passengers have wrote and change the way they offer a service. Never again.

"Well… where do I start"
Well… where do I start?
By the way, the 1 star is only because I couldn’t leave 0 stars.
I received 3 texts to say my taxi was arriving. This happened 3 times over the space of 2 nights. The problem with that, I hear you ask? Well I hadn’t booked any taxis. Also these texts were while I was fast asleep on a school night around 1am and 3am. Not happy to say the least!
Then last night, (the first time I’ve used this company since the afore mentioned incident). I booked a taxi (I actually did book this one!) and it literally drove past my home, very slowly as the street was 4 inches deep of snow. No beep, no text to say it was arriving or arrived NOTHING. I was however, watching out for it so I saw it coming and I even went into my garden (wasn’t quick enough in heels) and watched him drive the short journey to the bottom of my street and then crawl slowly round the corner. I wasn’t able to run after him. I rang the taxi office and a man answered. When I asked him where my taxi was going and that he’s just crawled past my house and I could still see him, he’s said “it’s been cancelled” ??? What ??? The man then went on that he couldn’t help me. I told him I could see the taxi round the corner from me (literally 50yrds away), can he not just turn round, he was driving really slowly, at a crawl pace. I could walk to him if he just stopped. No… the man on the phone said he wasn’t going to help me. And that was that!!! I was flabbergasted by the man’s matter of fact attitude, no help, no solution just - “it’s cancelled!” Now go away.
He must hate his job!

if you want a taxi you don’t get one but they take your booking so you can wait for it coming, then cancel and have no alternative solution!

Pre booked taxi to go airport for £19.70 (paid on debit card) but when driver took me the fair was £25 - he said original fee was only a quote ! Fare was then £25 but £26.70 was "pending" on my account and when this was queried with office the staff said it was due to a processing fee ? Office couldn't care less as they already have my money. Avoid company as they are rip off merchants - UBER so much better and reliable.

Do not use this firm! Always late even when booked in advance. And not just by a few minutes. You never get to speak to anyone when you ring. The driver was 1 hour late to take my son to college this morning. He couldn't give a stuff. I don't know how they are still in business. Do not deserve 1 star!

Foreign drivers should not work for blue line taxis. he was very rude and made me feel very uncomfortable. he was racist towards me. if they don't like working in the UK they should go back home to the country they come from. next time I phone taxi I will be asking for an English driver. if one is not provided I will refuse to get in the car and will try another company L A for example
