Customer service is very poor. Both customer service and the wider team do not respond to queries or problems. Members feel ghosted. There are random restrictions for international members. There’s currently a safety recall on a shampoo they sold and they have not responded to member concerns in twelve days.

Edit: Customer service has reached out and kindly offered to honor the code I had used in my first attempt at renewing. I would still recommend changing your saved payment on profile beforehand, if you are renewing after a break. As it stands, there is no choice of payment for renewing, they will use the card on profile. The variety in product offerings in the store could really still use some work(especially makeup)and I wish some of the brands I was first introduced to and fell in love with would come back. But due to the customer service I have experienced recently being so good, I have decided to keep my subscription going and hope for the best. I also would recommend this company, due to the customer service being real people and real responses helping to resolve any issues.
After endless texts with enticing offers to rejoin, I renewed my annual subscription after taking a break. The promise made was a full free box in addition to the first annual box. I used the code given at the time of the order, but they charged my old card number without giving me an option to choose payment. Customer service told me they could charge new card and once cleared, would refund old card. Apparently that did not include duplicating my order as I made it with the coupon code, because I was never sent the free box. Not sure if customer service did this in error or if it's a way of the company not honoring promises. On top of that disappointment, the boxes themselves are full of products no one really wants. It's like those places that buy overstock or leftovers and pawn them off as a great deal. Anything decent is an add on and not a deal. I wish I hadn't renewed as an annual member because I'm locked in for a year, when I would really just like to cancel and get a refund for the last 3 seasonal boxes that I already assume won't be worth it.

"Sketchy policies and no customer service"
This company has the the worst customer service experience I have ever ever delt with. One time, I was left waiting in the chat for over an hour and a half, I had two different people text me, but then never responded back to me, and when I did finally have someone (Zakey Z) reach out to me on the chat, they left after 1 minute, before I could even type out a response. I then sent an email request where again I would have someone reach out, I would respond and then nothing. This happened 3 different times through email, and 2 times through text messages. Then again when I tried the chat for another question, the person just left mid conversation, blaming their system that times out after 3 mins of "inactivity". Even though I sent a message every minute so that it wouldn't time out. It really is a sketchy company. There are so many product reviews of customers not receiving products and then you can't talk with anyone in customer service. Save your money, not worth it.

I had read a few reviews about the customer service being poor or non-existent, but my inquiry about an item that wasn't received was resolved quickly and above my expectations! The person I interacted with was friendly, explained the issue and gave me a credit to use for a later order. I'm very pleased!
